Enra's body asnwered as one would after being punched in such a place: The blow was taken in full, his body nearly folding over, having just enough consciousness to be able to roll out of Adam's way and down the stairs in a rather painful fashion of thwacking body parts on wood. Once at the bottom, he stopped, his body a messed up jumble.
"Ungh..."
He managed to roll onto his back, grinning weakly.
"G... Guess I got my lump..."

(I thought we were. Oh well. A fall down the stairs seemed more appropriate, for some reason...
*curses at, rubbing head*)
"...Yes. Thank you, Adam."
He managed to stand up, even with the direct hit to his cranium, managing to wobble into a seat. The hit would scramble his brain and its contents, throw him off their scent for now... He would've asked Charlotte to do something like it without the hit, but she seemed busy elsewhere. He let his head loll backwards over the edge of the backrest, sighing.
"...Yes. Thank you Adam."
(And now, I really must away... I've got a massive headache. *holds and groans like a sick pig*)

(Adam was sitting comfortably in the main room drinking tea when Enra walked up to him. No stairs...
I wouldn't hit anybody by a stairwell. That's dangerous!)
Adam soujourned to the kitchen, returning with a ziploc bag of ice for Enra. "I didn't think I'd hit him that hard...I'll have to thank Mr. MacPere for the lesson..." he hummed, giving Enra the ice. "Here...I hope you're all right."

Kristen blinked at the situation, happy to have helped Adam but a little perplexed by Enra. He always seemed a little off, but this was new for her....why would he want someone to hit him?
"MacPere gave you the lesson...?" Tyler asked, all too familiar with one of his strikes. "Remind me never to earn one of those again..."

He nodded with a smile. "He did! I asked him for advice yesterday, and he suggested that I either punch him or apologize with flowers..."
He placed a spare bag of ice wrapped in a cloth on his knuckles. "I suppose I've done both, now...but I don't like getting violent. Very strange day, isn't it?"

"Aside from the flowers, yes...and with Enra, it's almost always strange," Tyler shook his head.
"That is an accomplishment, given our usual state of affairs...at one point, there were two of them running around."

"Very orange...has a troop of tanuki following him around." Tyler was very short about it...he had nothing against the second Enra, though. Laura deserved to be happy, and if that's what it took, so be it. Didn't mean he couldn't find the guy annoying.
"I believe he chose the name Cain for himself, but my memory is a bit fuzzy about it..." Kristen added.
