"Well, if you say so." shrugged Gren, pulling on some rubber gloves. "Myself, I think I'll need the industrial stuff for this...I don't know what's scorched to the vent, but it's looking like I'll need the paint scraper."

After what seemed like endless hours of cleaning, Jim whirred to a stop, lights dimming as a flashing battery appeared on his display. He needed charging, and badly. Until then, he wouldn't be moving.

Enra woke up in bed, huffing, sweat on his brow and his body as well.
"Ungh..."
They were out for his head now... placing him in wars, in a dress in a castle guarded by a dragon (that one had been particularly embarassing to wake up in), being chased by dogs with no noses. The last would've been fine, if they didn't have smelling-nose people to accompany them. Rabid things...
He had just recently woken up from an attack on a shogun in Japan, and for whatever demented reason of the Old Ones' humour, they had made him a man in a fundoshi, the same sort of underwear that sumo wrestlers would wear... And that was it. When you were being charged by men with katanas and naginata and other various pointy metal objects, the skivvies usually weren't the way to go. He'd managed to imagine the Doctor and his TARDIS in his dream to step out from a sliding door, the Tenth, of course, since he was his favorite, and undo the seams in the floor below their feet with his sonic screwdriver, sending them falling... And then he woke up. In white fundoshi. He grimaced.
"Why fundoshi..."

Violet gingerly carried Jim across the main floor, sitting down in order to set him into his charging station. She wondered who would make a mess big enough to drain his battery, but that wasn't important now. Her schooling started in three months...it finally felt like she was a normal teen again, thinking of how to enjoy her summer.
"Oh, hello...you must be my artistic neighbor," Orrin greeted, armful of trinkets as usual. He had no idea how long he would stay...one day, a week...an hour? Something told him to stay, though, and so he would.

"Hi, Gren," Violet said, standing to greet him as Jim charged. "And...Orrin, was it?"
"Yes...I haven't seen much of you since I began staying here. I haven't upset you, have I?" Orrin asked. "I can make up for it, if that's the case..."
"No...I've just been thinking...it's my last summer before college. I'm still trying to figure out what to do."

"That's a relief," Orrin grinned, setting out a few more wares. "Some of the agents seem to be put off by me...not here, obviously, but back at my main location..."
"Well, nothing needs to be done," Violet answered, raising an eyebrow at the odd stuff. "I just...I haven't had a summer vacation in a long time. Don't people normally go on trips and eat ice cream and stuff like that?"

Violet chuckled slightly, thinking about a lot of the simple things she wanted to do with her summers. "I always thought...when I turned sixteen and got my license, I could go on a trip somewhere," she explained. "Maybe an amusement park or something...see a beach...just kind of be free from my folks and brother for a bit. Didn't quite get my wish."

"You carry swimsuits in your pocket...?" Violet asked, a little astounded. "...and what do you mean, Karma?"
"I carry many things," Orrin answered with a grin, beginning to tug out an assortment, both men's and women's, "and I trade in karma...these should not be expensive, and I can already tell you are owed quite a bit."

Gren gestured to the table. "The idea here is, he figures out what your karmic balance is, and accepts good karma as payment for these treasures. It's harmless, safe..think of it as getting rewarded for your good deeds in a tangible way as well as the usual fashion. I spent some of mine to get Eli an amulet and a bag of saxophone reeds." he smiled happily.
