A mental red flag popped up. He smiled sweetly. "Sure..." he said, opening his arms and slightly bending his back, which always hid what the binding didn't.

Enra stepped up from his seat, wrapping his arms around Gren and squeezing. He was a little shorter than him, his face about where his neck was.
"Thanks... hrm."
That was strange.
"You... smell nice."

He stepped away from Gren for a second, looking him up and down. That stance... He wasn't usually a huncher. Hunchers were people who were either worn out or dishonest or untrusting, in his experience.

A thought occurred to him, sending him into a mental blind panic. He sipped his scotch and casually rubbed his neck. "You, ah...didn't get any memories, did you?" he carefully asked.

He tried to think back into the last second. The process was like remembering a dream.

He scoffed, sipping his scotch. "Don't talk to me about that guy. But her..." His tone changed considerably, expression tender, fond of the thought. "Julia...I haven't seen her in years."

He looked to the stairs.
"Welp... I've gotta go and face myself again in bed tonight. And you've got some practice to be up to."
He gave Gren a playful fistbump in the shoulder as he stepped up the stairs.
"Ah."
He turned midway up the steps.
"One last thing. About practicing getting inside yourself."

James appeared in a loud pop, awakening Orrin from his slumber. "Oh! Um...mornin'?"
"...hello, James..." Orrin said drowsily, yawning. "What day is it...?"
"Sunday...no, you're not late." James grinned. "Actually, I was hoping to pick up a couple people...I've got a cool new thing and no one to gawk at my genius!"

"Hey, I mostly do this just for the sake of making new things...I just want a little validation now and then," James said, somewhat defensive as he turned his attention to Charlotte. "It's based on the technology from Stevenson's pet project...actually, it might have a part or two in it, and it even solves one of those problems that popped up in your tour!"
He opened his case, pulling out what looked like Orrin's palm reader alongside another that resembled Azana's helmet interface. "Ta-da! This bad boy is the GMO's next step in testing and hybridization...the power threshold it can withstand has been heavily increased, and it scans for all four sectors of talent at once! Sorting Hat, eat your heart out!"
"...hopefully it's less unpleasant than the palm reader Charlotte broke," Orrin said, about as impressed as he could get.
"Of course!" James beamed with pride before finally catching on to Orrin's hint. "Oh...guess I oughta update that thing, huh?"
