Ueki stepped downstairs, humming. His three frogs were gone now, Ueki having accidentally sent them back into the cube, and now he had no idea how to get them back out... But he was okay. He'd practiced a little more with the cube, seeing if he could control what kind of frogs came out, and their size. It seemed that he could change their size with the volume of his voice and their type with the number of 'ke's and 'ro's that were said, like a number code. Of course, he had no idea what each frog was when it came out, but he was sure it was different when it was bigger or smaller or spotted. But for now, he'd do without frogs for a ittle while, leaving it in his room on a desk.

He strolled up to the counter, still unsure of whether or not he'd earned the privilege of kitchen entrance yet.

"Hm-hmhmhm-hmhmmm...."

Finding a hook for his cloak, and tucking the quiver back over his shoulder, the Elf came into the room rather slowly, and picked a stool that hid him slightly in shadow. Not that his brilliant hair really allowed that, but it was a nice attempt. He accepted the tea with a smile, wrapping his hands around the cup delicately. "Le hannon. ...Er, I mean thank you."

He smiled again a little shyly, then sipped at it. "...Wh-...Where am I? Exactly?"

"You're welcome...you're in the Inn of Peace, stranger...a safe haven for all sorts, only rule being that there's no fighting indoors. I'm one of the Innkeepers; call me Gren." he replied with a smile.

"What's your name? And for what? I'll fix you something in a mo', kiddo." he added to Ueki.

He smiled and nodded slightly, "A pleasure to meet you Gren," he said softly, sipping at his tea before it managed to cool. "Im Aravilui. I do not think fighting will be a problem, but I will be certain to follow nonetheless."

His dark eyes turned to glance at Ueki, a little nervously, though he tried not to shy away.

Aravilui sighed and closed his eyes. Didn't he just answer that question? But then, it was not as though everyone always tried to listen to what was going on around them like he did. " Mae Govannen. Im Aravilui. A pleasure to meet you, Ueki."

"Le hannon," Aravilui smiled, glancing up at Gren. "My mother's name for me, and my preferred though it is odd among our people to so introduce ourselves."

He thought for a moment about the rest Gren said. There was nothing he really needed to be comfortable at the moment, other than the warm fire that was at his back and the tea he held. As to telling stories... That would make him more uncomfortable, but he thought perhaps he could do so. The only question was what stories to tell?

Aravilui coughed. "OH! Apologies. Yes, it means 'thank you'. I am not used to speaking this language, I tend to slip. I caught myself earlier, I must have missed that one. I am sorry."

He smiled slightly, "I suppose for that I owe you at least one story, but I will have to think for some time to remember a good one."
