Shalmii stomped in with Raia and Ayase's crystals. "Seriously, how many times are you two going to die on me?" She grabbed her hat, pulled another two rabbits out, and stabbed them with the crystals, allowing the two girls to come back to life... again...

Seriously, this makes no sense! I thought they would be more than ready to do that dungeon! Hold on a sec... this is just like when I revived Eisiol... he was never ever as powerful, but...

When the two girls were able to stand, Shalmii dragged them upstairs, sat them down on a bed, closed the door, and pulled out a scouter, which showed the relative power levels of the targets. Numbers flashed on the screen, and Shalmii frowned. "Okay... I'm getting 2050 from myself... that's normal... it was 2000 last time I checked... but I'm only getting 1250 from Raia and 120 from Ayase?! What's going on!"

Ayase looked at Shalmii with her flat, relatively expressionless eyes. "Maybe it's because only about 10% of the energy in our bodies at death is stored within our crystals; the other 90% has to be provided by the host body. Otherwise, what would be the point in using a host? Even the greatest of our demon-folk was only a local threat when he took a human infant as a host. These rabbits' bodies are similarly handicapped. It may explain why you haven't seen much of your brother recently; even if he did have the power to break Charlotte's curse, I doubt he would have any of his previous strength, especially since much of his power was from items which, except for the cards, are not kept at death. It all depends on the host, which is also why Raia was so powerful when using you as a host."

Shalmii nodded, while Raia shook her head. "Ayase, you are accurate, but wrong on one account. Demons always gain power from a host, but they only get to store 10% of it in their crystals. It's why I'm so much more powerful than you... more time being a demon! It's for that reason that Fenyx became a demon! Though... the way he did it was rather unorthodox..."

Aravilui chuckled, finishing his peach without any further difficulties. "I could handle beef. Or pork. Or even mutton, possibly, though that one I am not particularly fond of at all."

He looked up at Charlotte and raised a brow. "...Do I want to know? I am thinking not."

"If her biggest complaint is little beings in her sock drawer, she lives a very easy life," Aravilui snorted. "Especially considering I have yet to see one that was not cute."

He grinned at Zippo. "It that not right, tithen pen*?"

"As long as one is friendly to them, I imagine chibis are mostly harmless. Of course, the same is normally said of most people so that is not anything special," Aravilui shrugged.

He looked at Zippo, tilting his head slightly. "...I think I am beginning to get the hang of that, friend, but I have no idea what that was. What is... 'pineapple'? Pine trees do not have apples."

"But chibis don't have personal space. They even sleep in lumps of one another, like puppies. She coulda told them that someone else had comfier socks, and they'd have gone." pouted Charlotte.

"It's a type of fruit...his favorite." said Gren. "I'll see what I can cook up for you two...I'll be right back." With that, he strolled into the kitchen to find what he could cook.

Zippo sat down and proudly waved his toe-claws at Ara. "Luuka ma fiiiiiit!"

(That's okay. It's a weird read, I know. *Look at my feet!)

Aravilui chuckled, grinning. "They definitely sound like my kind of people. Once I am comfortable with someone, personal space tends to be a forgotten concept. I will try to remember that it does not work like that for most people."

He looked down at Zippo and laughed. "They are very nice feet, tithen pen," the Elf told him, going to scratch at his stomach again.

((Only for the more difficult ones. Pineapple is not one I'd have gotten. But then, I can't stand them SO.))

"I tried, but she was getting fairly annoyed by the point I got the chicken out." she said, waggling her rubber chicken. "I'll tell her later, and tell the chibis to stay out!" she said cheerfully.

Gren was calmly preparing some beef into strips for a quick stir-fry. "H'lo, Nate..." he said with a smile.

Zippo hopped back up, clambering into a nearby fruit bowl and demonstrating his claw abilities by peeling an orange.

"Really? They looooove people." she laughed. "Just be sure you let them know where the boundaries are, or they'll just move right in!"
