Wide golden-orange eyes peered up, halfway through chewing on the rind. "Huuuh~?"
"Well, not quite like that." she smiled. 'And he won't, believe it. He's a sweet pea."
"Swiipii!"
Gren tossed in some chopped vegetables, humming before throwing on a touch of salt. Simple flavors to start.

Laimu took to a seat in the corner, humming to himself as he finished his carving. He'd gotten back into birds, carving out the head of a cardinal.

"Eh, I never much liked peas." Then he paused. "OH that was not literal, my apologies. Idioms confuse me sometimes."
He watched Zippo eat the rind with a bit of a confused expression. That part of the orange was not normally what he would put in his mouth, but then again.... he had just watched the little being eat a penny. And burp fire.
Why was he finding a miniature dragon adorable? Possibly because the last dragon in his world had been killed a good fifty years before he had been born. He grinned at Zippo. "Never mind, tithen pen. I doubt you would ever hurt someone accidentally."

Zippo gnawed on the rest of the orange with a chirp, apparently uncaring about the juice pooling about. Charlotte wiped at the edges. "He's not inherently mean, no...just hungry."
Gren stepped out of the kitchen, a steaming plate of simple beef stir fry ready. "Here you go..."

Nate started the rice cooking than thought about egg rolls. His fondness for the food was well known and he was starting to have a serious craving for them.

Aravilui glanced at the food in confusion, and started blushing furiously when his stomach protested his delay in very vocal and in no uncertain terms. "...Thank you," he said softly, clearly embarrassed and returning to his default of 'barely audible and trying to find shadows'.

Aravilui accepted the fork and decided to forget trying to be dainty. He was hungry, anyway, and the only way to know if one liked something was to dig in.
He found resisting difficult. Apparently, he had been hungrier than he thought. "This is really good. Thank you very much," he managed between bites. He was grateful Carmelor was not there. While he had not known the Noldo long, Aravilui could only imagine what the ellon would have to say about Aravilui eating like he was. Probably that he should do it more often, if nothing else.

Aravilui glanced over. He recognized the boy and waved slightly, looking at the one who cut himself with concern. The Elf had pulled that one a time or two, both when carving and simply whetting his knife.
He was probably the only clumsy Elf he knew. Then the food claimed his attention again and he returned to it.

Ueki noticed he was being watched, seeing that the elf from before was there eating. He made his way further downstairs, walking up to the elf from the side, clearly visible to him. The boy waved, passing him a friendly smile.
"Hello."
