"How could you not like chibis? They are utterly adorable," he chuckled, though he was starting to flush again.
"...We might have different ideas of fun, though. For me, fun is surviving a battle, is taking down Spiders without getting hurt, or outsmarting them. Fun is running through the trees with one's eyes shut as the trees tell one where everything is. Finding new clearings that no other has seen for centuries, save a passing deer. Or trying to catch butterflies. We have some huge black ones in the canopy, and it takes a steady hand to even get up to them. Or catching squirrels. Sneaking up on deer..." He smiled slightly. "Or just watching others. I like watching people."

Aravilui smiled and put a finger against his nose with a smile, "The question is, can I hear them? The trees in my home have been awakened. My ancestors wanted to talk with everything, and we do have Power."
He wrinkled his nose. "Why do you do that? Use the same word for good and bad? You have no way to define good magic against bad magic."

Aravilui snorted slightly. "Perhaps in your world. There is a huge difference in mine. I assure you, Sauron and Galadriel used completely different powers."
He shrugged slightly, shaking his head. "Well, it all depends on the language one speaks, I suppose. Which might be another problem with trying to listen to the trees here. Who is to say that, even if they do speak, they speak in a way that I can understand?"

Thinking to how much he'd already seen Zippo eat, Aravilui nodded. "...Yes, do feed him first. With appetites like theirs, I would much rather see them fed than hangurii... er, hungry."

"I never was fond of raw meat myself, but to each their own. I do not know much about cats, personally," he rubbed at the back of his head awkwardly, blushing slightly. "No one I have ever met has had one, except perhaps centuries ago. They would not last long in my forest, what with all the Spiders. They always seemed more likely to be the pet of Men, anyway. Not that it is a bad thing, but twenty years is so very short!"

Fee scuttled over to Ara, sniffing his wrist over with his mouth sightly ajar to catch his scent, tiny tail lashing. "Huu yuu? Natto huumanu!"
