I feel like Solomon was just looking for the kind of love he couldn't find with Diva. So here is Saya, who is very much like Diva in many ways, but is also able to love him in a way Diva cannot & this coupled with their natural chiropteran instinct is probably what drove Solomon to believe he was in love with Saya.

Haji, on the other hand, actually knows Saya for who she really is and has always been devoted to her based on his own feelings. In the time he has spent protecting her as her servant and later chevalier, he has legitimately fallen in love with her and honestly cares for her as a person.
& That's why I feel Haji is the 'right man for her.'
