Hero HQ (AKA THE RP)

"Alright, I guess I can cut back on flaunting my inheritances," Geraldo gave as much an apology as he felt was needed, "As for how much I know, it isn't much. The guy that came by my house said he was needing a really good super to convince the others in Vancouver to join him and... I think it was the French army," Geraldo said, trying to remember something that had happened way earlier in the day. "Oh, where are my manners? I'm Geraldo Grant Green. The famous businessman Wallace Green's son. Since you're inviting me in, do you happen to have an adequately stuffed larder? I forgot Breakfast in my hurry to get here and it seems Lunch time is almost past as well."

"You will find more than enough food in the kitchen. Static, I have this, you can stay out with Terron." Nightwing said. "Oh, almost forgot; good to see you up and about." he smiled at Terron.

"Okay, follow me." he said to Geraldo, heading towards the building. He stopped just sort, doing something with his communicator so the security system wouldn't attack their guest.

"I believe I've met your father before. It was a business deal in downtown Paris." he added. He had gone as back-up for Bruce, who would be in the public eye too much to be able to be Batman. The trip had been uneventful, though d**k did meet a couple of nice French supers.

Following Nightwing, he added to the conversation at hand, "My father always was one to travel for business deals. He never wanted to take care of business at home. I can't understand why, Chicago is a very nice place, as long as you don't leave downtown that is. I never included myself in any of his meetings. It infuriated my father that I never wanted to be a part of the family business, but than again, would you want to be in the family business when you're the best at the things you do in every way, except business?"

Brent had looked up at his new partner. At first, he was still angry, but once his eyes locked with hers, he blushed, taking her hand. He started to open his mouth to say something, but the words that he choked out weren't even close to what he wanted to say. "You're..... you're a chick." He was so embarrassed by his own words, that he completely ignored a weird pulse feeling that had crept up his arm. "I'm sorry." he shook his head as he stood up. "That didn't come out right. Hehe." he chuckled as he rubbed the back of his head with his free hand. Her hand felt soft, yet stern, giving Brent all kinds of butterflies in his stomach. "Nice to meet you Lilith, I'm Brent."

Terron was in deep thought. His smile had disappeared at the sound of military getting involved with supers. Such things usually ended in disaster. If what the boy said was true, they were in for another long haul. He suddenly snapped back to reality. "Oh, thanks Nightwing. It's been awhile since I've even seen outside the headquarters." He smiled. After being told they could stay outside, Terron turned to Static. "So what's your take on this military business?"

Lilith relaxed quite a bit emotionally when she saw Brent blushing, and she couldn't help but let out a small laugh at what appeared to be a rather difficult time at making a structured greeting only to have what he had said come out. She found she might acctually be able to get along with this man. He wasn't nearly as terrifying as she had thought he would be. He seemed to act like any other man, and to her, that was nothing to sweat. She was imagining him running around guns ablazing twenty four seven. "Don't worry at all." She said in reply to his appology.
After removing her hand from his, as the handshake seemed to be dragging out a little awkwardly as he stood there trying to correct himself, she smiled once more to him, this time it wasn't really forced at all. "It is nice to meet you too Brent." She paused for a moment, glancing around the room before looking back to brent. "So, what's first on the agenda today?" She had to ask, as with this being a different district, they might have different ways of helping partners get to be at least somewhat comfortable with one another. In her old district, they would get shoved in a patrol car together for a few hours and drive a designated route. She hoped it was at least somewhat similar here.

Sal was getting bored, so he decided to go into costume and patrol the city for something to do. He ran into and alleyway and made sure no one was watching and changed into his costume. He was now the Warrior. The Warrior jumped and ran along rooftops looking for anything that might give him something to do.

While prowling the town, Commander Joffier spotted what he was looking for. Seeing a man all dressed up in his super costume, leaping across roofs, Joffier called for his attention, "You there! By the command of the French army, I demand you come down here so I may speak with you!"

Warrior turned around and glared angrily at the man who called him. He jumped down, pulling out his large double-sided axe. He walked up to the man, "No man or nation demands me! Now speak, before I decide to crush you." Warrior was overly ticked, from being bored and being demanded by some stupid looking human.

"I am looking to recruit supers to my cause. From the way you are speaking, I presume that you will not willingly join me. I hope you are able to take a hit for I do not wish to kill you," with that, He motioned that everyone open fire. As he closed the hatch on his tank, the other two tanks fired. His tank followed up with a volley of missles aimed directly at the super.

Using the time that he had alone with Nightwing, he said, "Listen, umm... I know I've been nothing but a pain so far, but I recently ran away from home. I can't go back now that my parents know the truth about me. Do you think I could stay here, learn to be a hero, and learn to perfect my powers?"

"Calling all officers in the vicinity. There have been multiple reports of what seems to be massacre on Garrison and 123rd." Brent's talkie bursted out. "That's us." *Couldn't this have happened later?* he asked himself. "Let's head out." Brent sort of ran out to his police car, hopping into the driver's seat. After Lilith had entered the car he sped off towards the destination.

The Warrior let out a blood curling roar, as the tanks fired. He turned out of the way to dodge the first tnk shell, and then caught the second with his open hand. "Is that all?" He said with a disipointed tone. Then the Warrior saw the missles, "Human weapons." He balled up his fist and uppercut the first missle, causing it to spin around and hit the missles close behind. As the missles made contact they exploded, Warrior was still close enough to be hit by the blast. He threw up his arms as he was inglufed by the flames produced by the explosion.

As the fire and smoke cleared, the Warrior was knelt down in the crater created by the explosion. He stood and brushed the soot off his suit. He had been pushed back by the explosion about five inches. "Maybe if those missles were stronger... I might have gone back a foot." He cracked his neck and walked toward the supertank, ready to rip it open, "If you have tricks you feel like pulling, now might be the time to use them." Warrior laughed.

Joffier used the intercom to project his voice, "You supers are just as amazing as I though you would be. I would love for you to be by my side instead of on the recieving end of what I'm about to send at you now." With that, Joffier ordered the firing of the Super-Laser (Named for it's ability to kill even supers). He made sure to follow him with the laser if he dodged, letting the beam stream continiously, unaware of the destruction he was causing to this block of buildings.

"Well, yea. I don't see a problem with that. Just have to do two things. One, run the background check, and two, show you around." Nightwing explained. "The background check started running when you walked inside, so it is almost done.

Deciding to get on with the tour, and let the background check finish itself up, Nightwing led Geraldo to the elevator. "You will need a keycard to use the elevator, and also there is an iris scanner." he explained as he used both. "If you try to go to a level you're not allowed on, it simply won't let you. Like the basement and the floors of the other heroes." he explained. The buttons for communal floors were white, while the basement had a red button, and the heroes' floors where yellow.

"We have the top floor." he added as the elevator carried them up. "My door is marked, as is Ivory's. He's my other intern. You can have any empty room." he said as they arrived at the top floor.
