Beko and Tatsu Past ((Me and Felfordulas))

Tatsu bit his lip lightly and looked out to the lake. "I don't think I'll be leaving the lake so soon." He said within a sigh, slowly sitting down. He was still a fair distance from Beko, but this was probably the closest they had been in a very long time. Truth was, Tatsu was a little glad that he could see her once again. He had seen her in his thoughts so often that it he wondered if it was still out of annoyance. He didn't ask her again what was wrong, she made it clear that she didn't want to talk about whatever it was that made her cry. However, Tatsu wasn't going to just let whatever it was get to her, even if he wasn't very sociable, he felt like he should do something to at least distract her. "Isn't it odd? The most beautiful place in the Clan's territory and we're the only ones here...it's not like it's a secret place." He said, still looking out to the waters.

Beko looked at the lake and all of a sudden ripples formed, they were small at first but got bigger the closer they got to the two "well in truth, we're never alone, don't you know the history about this lake"she asked him softly.

Looking back to Beko, he tilted his head a little before shaking it slowly. "No, not really. Nobody's told me much about the lake, nor have I taken the time to ask." He confessed, his eyes shifting back to the ripples on the surface of the lake. "I guess now's a good time to ask as any...what is the history behind the lake?"

Beko looked at him and looked sad almost lost, and the look in her eyes was kinda guilty looking, but she soon looked back at the lake "long before the war a couple from two different clans came here everyday, you can say the two hated one another at first but the more they came to the lake, it like their hatred for one another faded, but their love was forbidden so that why the lake was hard to find, but once the leaders of the two different clans found out and found the lake a war broke, and now the ones who died at the battle spirits are in the lake, and everytime a ripple happens the wind blows harder, because the two clans who fought were the fire and wind clans"she told the story like she been there when the war happen and the way she explained it was one reason why she hated war.

Tatsu listened sadly at the tale, soon looking out to the lake as well. "I see...that's horrible..." He said quietly, watching the ripples on the water for a moment. "But...I guess you could say at least now they can be together without fear...in spirit at least." He added. Tatsu learned very early in life that happy endings never occurred in the way one would think. He had, for most of it, a great life here, near perfect maybe, but in order to have it he had to witness his parents get butchered by Humans and proceed to wander the earth alone near death himself. Slowly he closed his eyes and shook his head a little. "Fate can be cruel..." He said simply under his breath.

Beko looked at Tastu, before she got up and sat beside him and hugged him. Beko knew what happen to him because when she was 8 she asked her father who he was and what happen. In a way their alike, Beko seen most of her friends die in war by humans or other clans. She closed her eyes as the hug became an embrace "sorrow, and pain can be to hard to handle sometimes alone, but your not alone anymore i'll be right here for you" said softly and caring. Beko didn't let go until he gave her an answer.

Tatsu had still been staring at the water, right up until he felt Beko's hands wrap around him. Not expecting the action, he blushed a deep red as he turned his gaze to her. When she spoke, he was even more suprised. He knew that his story was no secret, but she was literally the first to show any genuine concern for him in years. As the blush on his face softened, so did his expression. Slowly, Tatsu put his arms around her, returning the embrace with one of his own. "Thank you...and I will be here for you too." He said softly. Although he never acknowledged it, or rather he didn't want to ackowledge it before, but he knew there was feelings for Beko inside of him. It was only now, with her in his arms and vice versa, that they truly began to surface.

Beko opened her eyes and looked at him in the eyes, she never noticed it until now but he has beautiful eyes of sliver. Beko started to blushed as the thought popes into her mind, she looked away still blushing. Beko knew what was happening but its funny, she never knew if she could like someone that fast. She finally answered him "thank you"she said softly.

From the corner of his mouth, a small smile edged its' way onto Tatsus' face as Beko spoke again. To say he was lost as to what would happen now was an understatement. He had, from knowledge, never been with a girl in this way. Heck, Beko had been the first girl he simply sat beside for an extended period of time. It was happening at a strange pace, he couldn't understand why he felt so nervous yet comfortable at the same time.

Beko gently got out of their embrace and sat normally looking at the lake. She lead her head on her knees and sighed, she didn't know why her whole body was geting warm, maybe her face but not her.......then it finally hit her, she totally forgot what the month was. See there was one month in the spring where it was mating season and somehow the warm body thing hit all the girls faster then boys, she going to hate this month now.

As Beko broke out of the embrace, Tatsu moved his gaze to the lake, although only a second before glancing back at Beko. Something seemed to be bothering her, but he couldn't figure out what. It didn't seem to be psychological, nor did there seem to be any problem with her physically, what could it be? Emotional maybe, he still didn't know the reason why she was crying earlier, but he couldn't make assumptions too quickly. "Is something wrong?" He asked.

Beko stood up "i'm fine......I'm going to take a swim" she said and walked of towards the lake but she stopped back up and ran for it. She hit the side of the tree to jump from it which it worked. She landed in the water from a high jump, she open her eyes under water and looked up 'the sky seems so far away from here' she thought as she land on the lake ground. She could breath because the air from the water was around her. In a way she wanted this warming to stop, she was to young for mating so she thought this was better way then to explain to Tastu whats happening to her.

Tatsu blinked for a moment before watching Beko as she made it into the water. Had they belonged to any other clan, Tatsu would've been suprised at how she did that. What did suprise him though was that he suddenly felt like doing the same, as if being alone out here just wasn't as appealing to him as being under the water with Beko was. On any other day before this, with anybody else, he porbably would've just sat there or left when they weren't looking. With a shrug, Tatsu stood up and entered the water as well. Not as flashy as how Beko did it, but he was in nontheless. Although it was deep under the water, there was enough light to make out where she was, he swam over to her. Breathing was no problem for them, as they were taught at younger ages how to make sure drowning wasn't a problem.

Beko looked at Tastu, she sat up and grab his hand pulling him down closer to her, her plan backfired because she ended up falling back somehow with him on top of him. Beko blushed a bright red as she looked at him in the eyes.

Tatsu blinked as Beko pulled him closer. Had he been able to talk, he would've asked what she was doing, although it would've been cut off as the two fell together. His face went a deep crimson as he blushed, his eyes meeting hers in a gaze that felt like it would last forever. For a moment, his mind went into overdrive, trying to figure out what to do. It was then, when his brain was in a state of panic, that his body decided to do the acting for him. Slowly he edged his head closer, almost as if the current was pushing him towards her. Within seconds, his lips met hers, pressing gently against them as every single thought simply exploded out of his mind.
