[Kiba the Wild Beast]

Rune glanced over his shoulder at the two still behind him, he wasn't expecting them to fallow him. It made him slightly uneasy, a little embarrassed of his living conditions.
When he finally reached the container he lived in, he opened the doors all the way and entered. Grabbing a tenser bandage out of a bag near the back, he sat down on his bed and started roughly wrapping up his ankle.
"A rune is an ancient talisman, usually made of stone, that is believed to be shrouded in magic." He explained, not able to stay silent about it anymore. Rune liked the name his mother gave him.

"Ace and Rune huh?" Leona smiled. She hesitantly followed Ace and Rune into the dark place. She didn't like closed spaces. She sat in a spot near the door as she watched Rune wrap his ankle. When Rune explained what his name meant, she got a little worried. "Isn't magic a bad thing?" she said to Ace.

Ace shrugged slightly.
"Magic isn't always bad* She anwsered Leona. Looking around she finally settled her eyes onto Rune.
"So how long have you all been out here?" She asked them

Rune finished wrapping his ankle and then huddled up, leaning against the back of the shipping container.
"It's been over a year now..." He said quietly, thinking back to the home he use to have.

Leona sighed with relief when Ace said magic wasn't always bad. Her mind traveled to back then......"Ive been here about six months," Leona said softly. She didn't like staying anywhere longer than a few weeks. This is the longest she has stayed in one area. "How about you Ace?" Leona asked trying to get her mind off things, "How long have you been here?"

Ace's eyes had zoned off out at some corner of the shipping container, hesitating in her answer. Her arms rested crossed over her chest.
"I've only been here for a few days, I've been following the river." She glanced to Leona.

Rune brought his knees up to his chest and folded his arms over them, resting his head on his arms.
He remained silent, staring back and forth from Ace to Leona, studying both of them wearily. Still uncertain.
He was always too scared to go further then the outskirts of this city he grew up in. Rune knew he wouldn't survive anywhere else on his own.

"Following the river?........Why?" Leona asked Ace. She always wanted to know more. More about other wolves and life itself. She questioned everything, making sure it was all logical. If something didn't make sense, she didn't trust it. Leona crossed her legs as she looked out the door that was still slightly ajar. She noticed the day passing by quickly.

Ace looked to Leona.
"Because the river is a safety net. I don't stay in the same place for a long time, following the river insures that I will always have water and food. Also many towns lay close to the river."
Ace's stomach growled. Right.. breakfast was skipped.

Fenrir was walking along minding his own business when he heard some talking. "Hello my name is Fenrir may I aproach?" Usualy the young adult is as silent as a tomb and does not talk to others often but some reason he felt that he should meet these strangers.

Rune became frantic again as he heard yet another voice coming from outside. He sat in his corner and debated if he should run, but knew he wouldn't get far. The hair on the back of his neck stood up, no longer in flight mode, but ready to fight if he must.

Leona panicked as she heard the voice. She knew coming into confined spaces was a bad idea. She had no idea whether this voice was human or wolf. Her eyes shifted from Ace to Rune and back to Ace again. Rune looked like he was in a panic, but Ace seemed a bit more composed. Leona back away from the door....if the voice was human she should normally be able to smell it, but the stench from the air hindered her sense of smell. She ran to the place were Rune was farthest from the door. She trusted Ace and Rune more than the unknown voice from outside.

Ace immediatly reverted back to her wolf form, smelling the male. The hair on her back raised up and her tail went stiff. She let out a warned growl for the strange male to stay back. Her ears perked forward and she moved to the door, stepping out to face the male.
She faced him. defensive of the enterance.
"Who are you." She asked.

Fenrir sense that the mood of the strangers was shifting from flight to attack so he walked calmly in his human form till he heard a warning growl from a female.

"Easy sister wolf I mean no harm and my name is Fenrir." His first reaction was to shift in his wolf form and attack but knowing that his not the way to make friends he opted for a more peaceful approach. "Look the way you where all talking I could have sneak up on you easily, also I see you got someone injured if that is ok I got field medic training so I can take a look at it if you want?"

"I don't need your help!" Rune growled at Fenrir. Rune had already taken care of his foot, and if it weren't for that he would have made a run for it by now. But the promise of protection from Ace and Leona made the decision to stay put an easier one.
