Instagram is the place to be right now for personal art, in my opinion. You get a lot more viewers and followers than any of the other places like twitter or tumblr. Specifically for comics though... Instagram could also work, I did my research and chose webtoons, but tapas is also a very popular option. I like having my comics on a platform where the people going there are specifically looking for comics.

Yo, do have any tips for drawing FASTER because I am RUNNING OUT OF TIME right now hahahaha *sweats*

Ahahaha oh no!!! The only cure is not being a perfectionist about it razz It's tough. But also reusing work as much as possible. Copy paste those backgrounds hahaha! Cheat!!!

Well it ends today at 11pm (12 noon Japan time) so I gave up on meeting the deadline. GG

Aww hahah well the important thing is that you made something! And now it exists, regardless of the deadline on that particular thing. That's huge. You should definitely still finish it 3nodding

Oh I'm definitely still finishing it. It'll be done sometime in September. I'll enter it into a future contest or something later on. Learned a lot about myself by going for it so I'm really glad I did regardless!

Totally! And I find the act of finishing projects a practice in itself. It's too easy to leave things half finished.

This pandemic reminds me of that line from Zombie land. "I avoided people like they were zombies even before they were Zombies. Now that they are zombies, I kind of miss people".
I was a shut in prior to the pandemic. The earliest mention of the virus I have heard of was around October 2019. Something about soldiers during war contracting the virus. Then, there was the November and December 2019 spike. Which is where most point to as the start of the virus. Followed by the following two months January and February of 2020 and so on to the current day. In the beginning people reported getting sick but did not know what it was, linking their illness to another disease. It was only lately on as time went on the details about the virus started to circulate becoming clearer.
One study says that if everyone will wear their masks the virus can be relatively licked in around 6 months.
At least one person in my household currently has the virus. So, we are all self isolated. In my area many hospitals will not test a person unless they have symptoms. Yet, so many jobs require testing in so many cases in order for the employee to return to work.
I have had lower energy lately and generally feel like crap. My mucus has had more substance to it. I had a mild headache yesterday. One part between my thumb and pointer finger on my right hand felt hot. I had my temperature taken. I was 97.....something so no fever.

Yeah, I've definitely had friends get sick and come back testing negative during this whole thing. All those other viruses still exist. I've even seen a couple of panic attacks resulting in "covid-like" symptoms over fear of the virus. I'm pretty sure my mum had it early on at the start of February, when we'd heard of the virus but didn't know much about it. We were all very "Well yeah she's sick but it's something else." I was living in the same house as her at the time and didn't contract any symptoms, so I wonder if I either got it and was asymptomatic or just never caught it despite living in close quarters.

Remember the whole Swine Flew thing? During that epidemic some people literally thought the virus was a hokes. During this virus people are so polarized it has become a political issue how someone deals with the virus. Right now there are many who do not trust the news though will listen to conservative sources which have different shades of bias.

Yeah, it's crazy to me how covid-19 seems to have developed a left-wing vs. right-wing following. Political parties are a human invention, you would think someone could be hardcore into capitalism and keeping the government out of their s**t without ALSO thinking a global pandemic is fake and that masks are actually harmful for you.
I find it really interesting. Terrible, of course, and tragic for a great many people. But on top of all that.... Interesting.

I fall on both sides to some extent. I believe in Capitalism. I also believe a certain amount of Socialism is needed to keep currency circulating and cover the blind spots of Capitalism. I understand the economy as an observer and statistician. When it comes to government, I understand where I live authority figures are too hands off. Though, degenerative in many cases where they act. I understand that humans need to be controlled because we are not as removed from the animals as we think. On rare occasions, I can even perceive my subconscious on a low level.

It's nice to have something nostalgic and wholesome to come back to now and then. The world can get pretty rough. Sometimes I just wanna dress up a cartoon version of myself razz
