Then he paused. "You know, it strikes me that considering how rare being able to clearly hear trees in my world is, I should not probably talk about it so easily here. I mean, that sort of qualifies under 'hearing voices' and even among Elves that is a bad thing normally..."

Stacy nodded silently, ignoring Tyler's science moment. She, like the others, was depressed about Enra. Too often, it seemed, they would lose friends without warning or reason.

"I am hearing it with my ears," Aravilui objected weakly. He looked over Adam's shoulders a little, though the large crowd of people had him very content to stay right where he was, thank you very much.
"...I know bad things happened, but I do not understand what. Is it just easier to stay that way and go back to my room?" he asked very softly.

Finally shaking herself out of her haze Siren walked over to where Adam and somebody she did not know where talking with the others. "I am sorry about my departure earlier Adam, I hope I did not upset you."

Adam glanced back and nodded. "Maybe...I mean, long story short, our friend died and a few disappeared, and we're coping...it's messy, and totally not your problem, so you're be okay to go...I wouldn't be bothered if you did, but I'd like to meet you better later, okay?"
He looked to Siren. "Oh, no, no trouble!"

Siren smiled relieved that she had not offended Adam turning to his companion she introduced herself. "Hello I am Siren. I don't think we have meet before."

Aravilui smiled. "I would be honored, Adam. But first, I am going to get food and then disappear again. I'm immortal, but not quite that immortal."
He smiled again, and moved to do exactly that.
When the girl turned to him, he actually recoiled. s**t, someone noticed him. "Er.. uh... Mm... h-hi..." he managed. Too many people. Too many people he did not already know.

"Ah-actually... I... I just n-need to go," he said nervously. He had some rations in his room, those would do. He made a swift escape, ducking upstairs quickly and shuddering slightly. Eventually he needed to get over that, but right now, with how upset everyone was, Aravilui really preferred the idea of just avoiding most people.
((That and I'm logging out for the night so... g'night all))

Siren smiled to herself as he made a hasty retreat, deciding to just wait until she was needed again she walked over to a table and sat down. Then she took out her book and began making more notes in it.

A few days had passed, the gloom over the Inn fading slightly in time and explanations, shaded by a small sense of hope for those returning in due time.
Adam walked in, looking harried. He hadn't the faintest what had ravaged his garden, but it was a dreadful mess, and he was quite upset. "Vandals..." he scowled with a pout, popping his shirt half-open to cool off, chugging some water.
Gren glanced over, penning something in a notebook. "Still trying to fix the damages, huh?"
"Yeah...it's a real wreck."
