Jeff just shrugged then stared at the chibi.
"Oh no ... you did not... argh...you stupid little..." he cursed silently in front of his empty glass.
"Those are just a nuisance!" he shouted at the face of Zippo. Then he took his glass and headed for the kitchen to pour himself a new glass.
Not only the chibis, but that new comer, he could feel that she was nothing but trouble. He just hoped that she was not here to create problem for the Inn. He would die protecting this place!
Zulma smiled at the man and dared a kiss on his cheek before opening the door of her room.
"Let's join the others."

Zippo pouted. "Saawii." he cooed.
Remy beckoned the chibi over and scooped him up. "I'll handle this."
Adam beamed. "Okay! I need to find Mr. Orrin...I have to ask him for a magic coat or something., and maybe a welcome home gift!"

 Kiya sighed and looked over the top of her magazine at the man at the counter. "What's his problem?" She asked, not really caring as she nodded her head in the way the strange man had disappeared. "It's not like I've done anything to piss him off." She said in a casual tone. "Yet." She added with a snicker. Kiya could tell that that man would be great fun to have around, if not, he would just be considered a nuisance to her. Not that she was trying to be all high and mighty or anything, that's just how she saw it.

In the kitchen, Jeff closed the door of the fridge so strongly that one of the bottle got loose and broke on the floor.
Another curse and the young man was on all four gathering the pieces of glass while trying to clean up the mess.
Zulma smiled at Adam. "A welcome home gift?" she pecked his cheek again.
As they arrived downstairs, she noticed the new comer.
"Oh hello there."
She walked to the young woman with an extended hand.
"I am Zulma the Innkeeper. Nice to meet you." she said with a genuine smile.
Hearing the noise in the kitchen, she added.
"What's happening there?"

"Frankly, I can't say that's a wise line of thought with some folks around here." said Remy with a grin. "That temper of his asks for it, but you should probably watch who you decide to cross, miss."
"A welcome home gift." he smiled, looking curious at the new individual. "Hello, miss!"
Remy added "Jeff dropped a bottle."

Kiya chuckled slightly, "Yeah, I guess you're right." Was all she had time to say before the two other people bombarded her with hello's. She nodded her head at the man. "Hi." Was all she offered the girl as she leaned against the counter, her elbows propping her up. As the girl extended her hand, Kiya just looked at it. It wasn't a stare of I'm - to - good - for -you, or a wide eye's look of disbelief that this girl actually thought she would shake her hand. It was just a...look. "Hey." Was all she offered to her, making no motion to extend her hand as a greeting aswell. "You might want to go check that out." She said, snapping her head towards the direction of the kitchen.((Ugh, sorry this one took so long, I had to go eat. =3))

Zulma froze as Kiya did not shake her hand.
"Is there a problem with shaking hand with the owner of the place?" she asked with a soft yet serious voice, her golden eyes looking at the girl with a question in them.

Kiya sighed. "No, I guess not." She said as she took the Inn Keeper's hand in her's. Her grip was firm, yet not aggressive. At the malformed work of weirdo being directed at her, she quickly snapped a deadly serious gaze at the small chibi. "I'm not weird." She hissed, though it seemed as though she was trying to convince herself of that, not the chibi. She then made eye contact, her usual bored expression plastered on her face. "Here." Was all she said as a small blue phoenix popped out in a small poof of smoke in front of her.
It flied around her head once, Kiya's dull grey eyes following it. It then went and flapped in the chibi's face. A small cawing sound could be heard from it as it methodically flapped in front of the small creature. "There, it's yours now, if you'll have it." She said casually, her elbows going back to rest one the counter as she casually leaned against it.

"FUUDO!" said Fee leaping after the bird, tiny cat tail fluffed in pursuit.
Remy looked up with a frown. "Don't tempt him. And don't take him personally either; he thinks everyone else is weird. Got a name?"

Zulma smiled at the young woman.
"Welcome Stranger!" she chuckled as the girl still had not given them her name.
Then she looked at the phoenix and nodded in agreement.
"Pretty neat." she said softly. "As for the chibis, don't mind them." she said as she petted Zippo's hair.
The woman walked to the counter.
"Would you care for something to drink?" she asked to Kiya.
And added. "Remi, you want some nectar?"
In the kitchen, Jeff straigthened up as Adam walked in.
"I am okay." he lied seeing that now there was some blood in the glass and drink.
I am never that clumsy what's wrong with me?! he wondered.
He grabbed a new towel and tried to clean the mess once more with a deep sigh.

Zippo chirruped and leaned into the pet. "Chiiichichibiiiiii~"
Remy sat up with the look of an excited dog. "Oh yes~, Zulma!" he sang.
Adam pouted, taking the towel and a broom. "Go wash out your wound, Jeff. I'll take care of the glass so you don't get any more." he said firmly, sweeping things up.

"Name's Kiya." She said, her voice cool and collected. As the lady offered her a drink, she declined. "I'm good." She said with another chuckle. "So, what's his problem?" She said, slightly overhearing the conversation in the kitchen. "I'm sure I can't be that annoying." She said in a mockingly sweet tone, batting her eyelashes. She laughed at her joke and sighed. "So, what do you have to do around here?" She asked, though something in her tone said that she wasn't really planning on doing anything, just making conversation.

Jeff stood up and passed his hand under the cold water without any expression of pain on his face.
It looked like the thing which had been the most hurt was his ego.
"Thanks Adam." he said as if the words were hurting his mouth.
He sighed.
"Is the girl out there giving trouble to Miss Zulma?" he asked with dark eyes.
Zulma smiled.
"One nectar one!" she mused. Then she looked at Kiya. "Nice to meet you. A nice name." she added gently and then crossed the room to give Remi his drink.
"Here you go."
"Let me know if you change your mind Kiya." she paused.
"As for Jeff...well we all have our moments..." she smiled and added. "You should ask him!"

"You're welcome." he said kindly, wiping up with the damp towel to endure he got everything. "Not yet; I think she's just reticent...why?"
Fee chewed on a blue feather with a proud look on his wee face.
Rem almost purred at the delivery of his drink. "Thank you, thank you...nobody does it quite like you~. Ah, Kiya. What we do here? Anything we please. Only rule is, no fighting inside."
