Adam hummed, tilting his head. "I didn't know that....well, I guess I'm a freak too!" he reasoned. "But that doesn't make it bad, because I'm not bad."
Remy frowned slightly. "You're tellin' me you're having a crisis with being what you are? Kiddo, you're in the right place then, because there is not a soul here who isn't a freak by your book. You're in good company." he said, last words falling as she began to bolt.

 Kiya snarled, but her gaze was pleading with him. "Listen! You, all of you! You're good "freaks"." She reasoned, "But me, I'm not alright?" She snapped with that she disappeared down the hallway an into her room.

Zulma looked at the hallway where Kiya had disappeared...after a moment of silence, her gentle laugh came upon the room.
Jeff looked at the Innkeeper as if she had lost her mind.
"What is there to laugh about?" he asked in his usual grumpy tone.
"Oh Jeff..." answered Zulma. "She is just like Angeles!"
WIth those words, the woman was very contented and poured herself a glass of iced tea.
"Anything to drink anyone?"
Jeff wondered how the mention of the Countess was reassuring for anyone at the Inn.

Remy cocked an eyebrow and called after "I EAT PEOPLE AND COMMAND YOUR RACE AND BRETHREN. GOOD IS A KINDA LOOSE TERM HERE TOO." before sipping his nectar. "Ah...yeah, that's totally like Angeles!"
Adam blinked. "Whom?" he asked, hugging Zulma.

Zulma looked at Adam. She forgot that if he did not know about Baldur, then he probably did not know about Angeles.
"Angeles is my friend. She was the one who summoned Baldur for me."
Because the innkeeper was speaking so lightly, that annoyed Jeff.
"We all saw where that went!" he snapped out.
Zulma's smile froze and she stared at Jeff. Silence filled up the room.

Adam blinked again, furrowing his brow. "But that wasn't her fault, Jeff, so don't yell at her."
Remy glowered at Jeff. "Just because you're mad at Kiya, you're gonna take it out on Zulma? You really are a kid."

((I got about 20 minutes. v-v)) Kiya was sitting on her bed, she was breathing heavily, but evenly. Even though she had a room that could shield her from the moon's rays physically, she new she would be no mach for the force. In two day's time, It would take place, and that was when the real fun starts.

Jeff held Remy's gaze.
"I know my place." he said in an icy tone. Then the adolescent turned to Zulma who had started trembling.
He bowed.
"I am sorry Miss Zulma. That was uncalled for." but he did not stop there. "And I am sorry, but Angeles might be your friend, yet she hurt you more than anyone here. Having someone who reminds you of her in the Inn is not to calm my mind."
He stood back up and left the Inn by the front door.
Zulma was trembling when Jeff left. The memories of what she had been through were back again.
She tried to control herself by holding on tight to Adam.
"I'm sorry." she said in a whisper to both men.
"Sadly I understand his concern, but I am sure Kiya won't be a bother. The way she speaks, despite whatever evil is in her, I know she is a good kid."
She looked at her iced tea.
"I think I need something stronger to drink right now!" she chuckled sadly.

Remy nodded, sipping his nectar. "Yeah...seems like she's not the type who's asking for answers either...Some things are best found on one's own."
Adam hugged back with a smile. "Booze?"

Kiya, still in a tight ball, fell to her side. As she lay in a heap on her bed, she drug herself into a more comfortable position where she slept, or, more or less, fell unconscious.

Zulma nodded at Adam.
"A glass of port would be quite welcome." she admitted and moved around the counter to sit on one of the bar chairs.
She sighed.
"Anyway...any other news outside of Enra and Enta...?" the inkeeper thought for a moment to go speak to Kiya but she was in no shape to find the right words for a young woman like their new guest. Plus she probably just needed a good night of sleep.

Adam headed behind the bar and smartly began pouring once finding one of the non-trick bottles.
Remy shrugged. "Ah...anniversaries, moving party for Stella's new pad, Az's new broom, uhh...I did a painting of you with Gren and Eli?"
"My asparagus is coming along well every few days and my peppers are almost ripe."

Zulma listened to the man. Daily simple news calmed her a little.
"A painting of Gren, Eli and me?" she asked Remy with true interest. Afterall she was a woman and that flattered her.
"May...may I see it?" she asked with a bright smile.
Not forgetting Adam, she turned and winked at him.
"I cannot wait to taste some of your vegetables!" once she finished her sentence, she froze and opened her mouth, trying to reformulate what she just said...but it was too late, she had thought about it, now the idea made her turn red in embarrassment.

"Yeah, sure! Lemme go get it." he said, standing and strolling toward the stairs.
Adam beamed. "Good! They're really fresh, and come harvest, they'll be so ripe and tasty that we can have a feast!", completely missing her reason for embarrassment. "...Are you all right?"

As remy left, Zulma turned to Adam whose answer was so adorable and yet if she went on where her mind wanted to lead her, it was terrible.
She leaned to kiss him on the lips as an answer to his question, yet at the last moment, she shifted slightly and gently kissed his cheek.
"Sooooo where's my drink?" she asked trying to change the discussion subject.
