Zulma smiled at James and Max and Remy and Adam...it felt homey again.
"Thank you so much Remy. This will had something beautiful to this room."
She just sat on her seat and relaxed, drinking her port. Almost perfect... she thought, noticing that Gren and MacPere were nowhere to be seen.

"Huh? Yeah, Max's system is really cool!" James beamed. "I got a lot of my preliminary calculations done! And she showed me this cool timeline. Now I'm solving it!"
"I can see it now!" Max beamed. "This whole place is gonna look like that gallery!"

Adam calmly took a seat nearby with a small smile. He still didn't know what their relationship was, but it suited him fine as it stood for now, history or no. He smiled sunnily to Zulma, then sipped his port. All was well.
"Yeah, but with a much better director...that snot Ixion's only keepin' me because I'm a big draw these days." he said, rolling his eyes.

Zulma listened to James and Remy talk about computer. She did not understand much about it, but James seemed very enthusiastic.
She chuckled at Max's comment. "If the paintings are all so talented, I do not see why not!"
Her eyes drifted towards Adam who was sitting with his glass of port. She slowly stood up from her seat and went to him. She leaned and spoke softly only for him to hear.
"I think I should go to bed..."

Zulma took his glass without answering. She disappeared in the kitchen and put both their glasses there, then came back and took his hand, inviting him to come with her.
"Good night everyone." she said to the rest with a beaming smile. And she led Adam up the stairs.

Zulma's eyes raised to meet Adam's. Before letting him in, she spoke with a hint of shiness.
"I have a very selfish request..."
Her eyes were both tender and serious.
"May I...fall asleep against your chest?" she asked with a slight blush across her cheeks.

He blinked, then grinned a bit shyly and nodded. "Only if you let me fall asleep while hugging you..." he said with a hum. "Shall I fetch my pajamas, or..?"

Zulma kisses his nose. He was too cute for words.
At his question, she pulled him inside and closed the door behind them.
"If you want pajamas, I should have a pair from my brother somewhere..." As she spoke, she looked up in her cabinet, then found what she was looking for.
"Here they are...but you don't have to wear them..." she looked at him with tenderness once again.
"Your call..."
On those words, she disappeared in the bathroom to brush her teeth and change into a shirt too big for her and so short pajama pants.
"I found a new toothbrush for you." she announced. "I always have spares. I hate running out of clean toothbrush." she chuckled.
Then she stopped for a moment, staring at Adam still standing in the middle of the bedroom. Slowly she walked to him and wrapped her arms around his waist, pressing herself against him.
"I'll wait for you in bed." she said on his lips and stepped aside to let him pass and slip under the sheets.

Blushing neon red, he obediently strolled into the bathroom, emerging after a change, tooth brushing and face-washing wearing only the pants, finding it all that was necessary.
Stepping over to the bed, he slid in beneath the covers with a calm sunset smile, gliding over and giving her a light kiss, wrapping his arms around her. "Ready?" he said softly, already lulled toward a doze by the comfort and smell.

Zulma could not help but look at him when he emerged from the bathroom. If she were not that tired, she would probably not be 'just' falling asleep against his chest.
She chuckled at his question.
"I think so..." she mused with a wink before turning off the lights.
She leaned against him and gave him a kiss, strong on the lips, her fingers brushing his sideburns and cheek.
"Thank you Adam."
She pressed herself against him, laying her cheek against his chest. She felt peaceful once again.
Closing her eyes, she murmured.
"Good night Adam."
Moments later she was asleep.

Settling his chin over her crown with a pleased sigh to the pet to his hair, he closed his eyes, relaxing into the bed. "Good night, Zulma..." he said serenely, slipping into his evening's respite.

((Should we call a time skip?))  Kiya was laying in her bed, in her fit of unconsciousness, she was having a nightmare, the same one that had plagued her for a few years. In her fit of slight flailing, she began to cry, tears slowly flowing down her perfectly soft peach cheeks.

Gren yawned, sweeping in the main room of the Inn, listening to the chibis regale him about the events of the previous evening. "So, Zulma's back..." he smiled crookedly to himself, picking up the dustpan. "I think I'll make something special to eat, then."
Adam nuzzled his sleeping bedmate slightly, relishing the warmth. "Mm~"
