"She'd get over it," Tyler shrugged. "I'm sure she'll be by in no time if I call."
Orrin glanced down at his feet for a moment, making sure his footing was sure, and reached his hands to take Adam's. "Pull when ready."
Azana laughed. "If I didn't know you better, it'd sound like you were juggling girls."

Orrin grinned, finding his torso and hips out in no time at all. He took one step out of the pocket, happy to feel terra firma again, but the second.
"Guh!" His foot caught on the fabric, sending him tumbling downward.
Tyler nodded. "Besides, it's not like I tried to make all this happen," he added, surveying the overall layout of the circuitry and testing the connections. "Hm...this could be done by the weekend."
"I suppose that's fair...you just have quite an interesting life these days, Ty," Azana observed. "I don't know...maybe I'm just getting antsy for a challenge. I haven't really had anything since that conference earlier this summer..."

Adam yelped, falling backward at Orrin's trip, landing on his rear but still persisting in trying to catch the man. "I-I'm sorry!"
Gren hummed. "Well, I'm sure there's someone who'd want to tangle with you...need a sparring mate or something?"

"Hm? It's not your fault I underestimated my own pockets," Orrin chuckled. "The Inn looks so different from this perspective...but I can explore it later. For now, I need to explain these and extract payment, yes?"
"Maybe," Azana sighed. "I don't wanna jinx it, but we've been really calm lately. No big issues, no villains...we really are living up to our name."
Tyler rolled his eyes. "Which means it'll now happen," he shook his head, partially joking and partially cynical.

"Yeah! And...maybe something new for Zulma." he nodded. "I admit, I don't know how much I have in my Karmic account..." he said, picking himself up and helping Orrin up from the floor. "But if it comes down to it, I'll get her something nice and wait on the coat and such."
"Well, yeah...but one can hope that it's the good kind of turmoil." said Gren.
Zippo sat up and cheeped. "Weiiruwurufu!"

"Thanks," he said, finally getting back to standing, "though I think you underestimate your karma, my friend. Simply looking at you, I don't think there's an ill-mannered bone in your body."
"There wolf. There castle," Tyler retorted, realizing only afterward the reference would be lost on a chibi. "We have a werewolf in here...? Hm."
"Well, Ash is kind of a were-everything, in a way, but that's definitely new, unless you counted that cerberus guy...what was his name again?" Azana asked, kicking herself for forgetting. She went on a mission with him and everything...

Adam thought for a moment, mulling over his various deeds in life. "I killed a bug once, and I'm sure I've done some things wrong here and there, but I think my lack of activity in the rest of the world would probably be the biggest problem, despite my better intentions." he nodded. "But if you think it's good, then it probably is!" he smiled.
Gren chuckled at the reference, and Zippo looked around to try and find the castle Not seeing one, he pointed at the stairs. "Kiya!"

"Hmm...you may be a relatively clean slate, but there are ways of finding out," Orrin grinned. "Though I'll leave the choice to you."
"Kiya?" Azana tilted her head. "Is that a yell or a name?"
"Kiya the werewolf. I'll keep that in mind." Finally satisfied with the layout, Tyler began to stitch the circuitry into the fabric.

"As you wish," Orrin bowed his head politely before extracting the sample. The heart-shaped crystal was practically clear, very few clouds hovering through like a clear day. "...oh...I see. You are an interesting young man, Adam." He handily pulled out the scales and began to measure. There wasn't much there, admittedly, but what he was seeing was very good.
"An angry werewolf...lovely." Azana sighed. "Any idea what has her panties in a bunch?"

"I will declare you have enough for the coat, the amulet, and something for our benevolent caretaker."
"If freaks make her mad, she's in the wrong place," Azana said flatly, creating a few sparks between her fingers. "Or, maybe, it's a place she can calm down."
