"This coat is activated when buttoned up...the level of warmth is actually dependent on the number of buttons fastened. People always seem to lose coats in the summer, so your forethought pays off. As for the amulet, I believe you draw clock hands in those two circles...and you will sleep and wake at those times every day so long as you keep it." Orrin hummed. "I may be wrong, so you might want to try it first..."

"Gracious..." he breated, marvelling at the items. "That sounds like a brilliant match! I'll definitely want to coat...and may I take the watch on a trail run? I'd test them tonight and see how well they work."

After reading Adam's note, Zulma had smiled. She hadn't slept so well in a while and she took a long shower to wake up totally.
Despite her wish to go downstairs, she had things to attend to for the Inn and she spent her day out, very busy, coming back only late at night when the Inn was empty and quiet.
Another good night of sleep, although that one alone had put the innkeeper in high spirit.
"Today I should be off!" she beamed.
Showered and dressed, she trotted downstairs to the kitchen where she wondered what she could cook for the guests.
After his annoying encounter with the werewolf Kiya, Jeff had spent the day away from the Inn, trying to avoid meeting that damned girl again.
He was up with the sun for his daily training around the lake, then came back to the Inn very hungry.
He entered the room as Zulma disappeared in the kitchen and decided to go shower before offering a hand.

"Uh?" said Adam, suddenly qaking up halfway through a dream. Sitting up in his bed, he frowned slightly at the amulet. "Well, it's certainly efficient...but a little harsh."
Gren yawned, heading downstairs with his saxophone case in hand, looking to practice, perhaps get a chat or two. "Hello, Jeff... he smiled to the young man as he passed him on the stairwell. "Nice morning..."

"Hey..." grunted back Jeff at Gren as he disappeared in the hallway.
Hearing footsteps in the stairs, Zulma peeked out of the kitchen's door. When she recognized the new comer she did nothing but fly across the room to wrap her arms around the man.
"Gren!" she pressed herself hard against him. "I've missed you." she said warmly.

Zulma smiled at Gren, cheeks pinking in pleasure at his nonsensical compliment.
She backed off softly.
"I am in the process of deciding what to do for breakfast..." she looked at the clock. "Well I guess for lunch."
She chuckled.
"You need to help me out on that! What do you want to eat?"

Zulma chuckled at first, then she beamed.
"Teaching you? S-sure. Come on in!" she called him as she trotted back to the kitchen.
Spending some time like that alone with Gren was making her happy, a little too happy maybe.
"So first we need milk, eggs, flour, salt and oil." she started, opening and closing cabinets to get out what was needed.

Adam sidled down the stairs, looking excited. 'Soon, I'll have the perfect present...' he thought happily. Looking around, he hummed. "Who's here?"

Zulma looked at Gren and laughed at the sight of the pan. "You first need to prepare the dough!"
Put a hand on his wrist, she nodded.
"But that will be useful for later." she added.
Taking a bowl from the cabinet, she put the flour in.
Hearing Adam's voice, Zulma seemed to freeze for a split second before shouting.
"In the kitchen!"

"Oh? Just gettin' it out and ready..." he grinned, standing by to watch her make the dough.
Adam wandered to the kitchen with a curious smile. "Hello! What're you doing?"
"Makin' crepes...want in?"
"Ooh, may I? I love those!"

Zulma added the eggs to the dough. As Adam entered in the room like a sunshine, she gave him a gentle smile.
"Hey Adam!"
Then she turned back to the bowl, looking at it strangely for a moment before adding slowly the milk, listening to those two men so important to her.

"Ooh, neat!" he happily said, strolling in.
"Yeah, you want to chop some fruit for this?" he asked, tossing Adam an apron.
Tying it on, Adam nodded. "Lemme at it!"
Grinning, Gren nodded to the fridge before turning back to the bowl. "So, now we whisk it?"

Zulma took a peek at Adam as he put on the apron to look quickly back at her bowl, hiding her face behind her long hair.
When Gren almost whispered at her ear, she almost dropped the bowl.
"Y-yes...now we whisk it...if you want..." she gave him the bowl and kept on adding milk slowly. She kept her eyes focused on the milk bottle.
