"Oh sure, I'm fine with that, I'm sure she'd get a kick out of looking at the pictures." Sofia chuckled and walked out into the living room with Alex where she sat down on the spot Alex was sitting so he could sit on the other so that Debra could look at much easier. In ever single picture there was no sign of her parents. Some had maids and butlers in it but never her parents. Some pictures she looked happy, some she smiled but it was clear she was unhappy. There was one where she sat on the floor hugging a big teddy bear. There was one particular picture that would probably grad Debra's attention considering that Sofia's hair was black along with her clothes that looked far more modern then what she wore now. The picture was taken about the time she was 15.
((OOC: The picture of her has black hair but she currently has her natural blonde hair lol))

"Wow! That's a very nice photo!" Debra said as she looked at the picture of Sofia that had been taken when Sofia was 15, "We could almost pass for sisters." After looking from the photo to Sofia and back again, she added, "I'm not sure which way looks better. The way your hair is now or the way it is in the photo. By the way, my natural hair color is brown, but that doesn't fit in with my Goth look." Alex had been looking at the photo as well, and he predictably stated, "While I like both ways, I think that I prefer the way that you look now, Sofia." After a moment Debra remarked, "OK, I'm going to be Captain Obvious here and point out that your parents aren't in any of these photos, Sofia. Why is that, if you don't mind me asking? My grandmother has a couple photo albums of my family, and there isn't a single page where there isn't at least one photo with one or both of my parents in it. In fact, she still has the last family portrait that my parents had taken." That family portrait was hanging in her grandmother's living room. A part of Debra wanted to demand that her grandmother should take down that reminder of Debra's loss, but so far Debra hadn't fully convinced herself to do that, mainly because that would be like turning her back on her late mother and Debra still respected her late mother far too much for her to do that. Besides, she didn't spend that much time in her grandmother's living room.

Sofia looked at Alex and smiled when he said he preferred how she looked now though deep down she liked her look before as well, just because it made her feel a bit more confident. That rebellious stage had died down though. Her smile slowly faded as she glanced down at the photos, silent for a moment. Finally she replied, "My parents are the photogenic type I guess....they were always too busy with their businesses anyway to really waste much time taking photos." Sofia shrugged and grabbed the photo album once they were done looking at all the pictures.

"Oh, you might like this picture," Sofia said to lighten to mood as she pulled out a picture that was hidden behind another one. It was another picture of her with black hair and modern clothing. "I think Aeron took that picture while I wasn't paying attention."

"There's another great picture!" Debra said approvingly, "Obviously Aeron knows how to use a camera. Where did he take it?" Taking into consideration the way that Sofia usually dressed in public, Debra was guessing that it hadn't been taken in school.

"I think it might have been at the park around his house. We always just went there to relax and get fresh air. He didn't like going home so I always kept him company," Sofia said as she tapped her chin, trying to remember if that was correct or now. With a faint nod she concluded that that was when the picture was taken. "It felt like so long ago," she muttered as she looked at the picture before putting it back into the scrapbook. Then, looking over at Alex she asked, "Did you know your mom already showed me all your baby pictures?" She chuckled since some of them were him naked, showing his little baby butt. There were hardly any pictures of Sofia as a baby, and it was hard for anyone to say that they ever saw her mother really even hold her. It was quiet sad.

"Why am I not surprised?" Alex inquired rhetorically, and he continued along that same line by stating, "I'm going to have a heart attack and die from not being surprised! It seems that every time I make a new friend, Mom gets out the photo album and goes straight to the baby pictures, especially if the new friend is a girl! And of course she has to show them to everyone else who comes to visit." If Debra hadn't been there, then Alex might have remarked that the other night, during the shower accidents, hadn't been the first time when Sofia had seen him in his birthday suit. But then again, he might not have said that because it would have embarrassed Sofia to death. Just then Debra asked enthusiastically, "Would you mind if I had a look at that photo album? Baby pictures are like the cutest things ever!" "Sorry, but I don't have it here," Alex replied, "When Sofia and I moved in together, I didn't think to pack any photo albums. Besides, I don't want to spoil Mom's fun." That was the truth, but then again, at the moment Alex wasn't all that sorry that he forgotten to pack the photo album.

"Actually," Sofia began to say as she got up and left the living room for a moment only to come back with the very photo album with Alex's baby pictures along with others. She sat down and made room for Debra so they could bot sit and look it over. She looked at Alex and chuckled, "Your mom left it." And with that she opened it and began to look through all the pictures, commenting on some of them.

"Mom strikes again!" Alex remarked before giving out a sigh of resignation. It was just like his mother to remember that photo album, and also just like her to give it to Sofia instead of him. Even so, there were a couple photos that he would like to show off, and so he let Sofia and Debra have their fun. After a while he said, "OK, now that we've looked at Sofia's photo album and my photo album, I think that it's only fair that we get the chance to look at Debra's photo album. Don't you think so, Sofia?"

"Oh, I think that's a great idea!" Sofia chuckled and looked over at Debra hoping she would be fine with it."Perhaps next time you can bring your photo album and show us. It is only fair." As if Bo knew what was going on he barked excitedly and hopped all over Debra, licking her cheek. Sofia chuckled and shook her head, "Bo, don't smother her with all your drool."

"Oh, don't worry. Bo's fine. He just wants to give me some doggy kisses, don't you Bo?" Debra replied. Once Bo had settled down again, she promised, "Alright, I'll bring my photo album the next time that I come." Debra then shook her finger warningly at Alex as she added, "But if you say anything really embarrassing about my baby pictures, I'm going to slap you silly."

Sofia chuckled and it seemed that time had flown by pretty fast. Perhaps it was because she wanted the day to go by slow since she wasn't excited about tomorrow. She was in the kitchen washing dishes after she had come back after leaving Debra at her grandmothers house. It was an interesting day for the most part though she wasn't happy that it was ending so quickly. Once the dishes were done and the leftovers from dinner was put away she joined Alex on the couch again, handing him a pain killer and some water. Sofia still had that kiss in mind and how Bo had broken it up, that part was funny the rest was embarrassing to think about.

[Alex thanked Sofia for the medication, and after he had taken it, he asked, "Do you have anything planned for tomorrow? If not, I'm thinking about watching the NFL on TV." He was thinking that because Sofia hadn't wanted to go anywhere that day, she probably would want to stay home the next day as well. After all, everything that she loved to do could be done right in their apartment, which worked out well for Alex because watching a football game on TV was better in some ways than going to watch the game at the stadium, which was actually too expensive for Alex anyway. Even though Alex was reasonably certain that Sofia would want to stay home, he thought that it would be best to ask just to make sure.

"Nope, I have no plans, I'll just do stuff around the apartment I guess," Sofia said though she didn't say out loud how she always did nothing on that particular day. She stood up and left him to watch what it was he was watching as she figured she would shower. This time she was far too lost in her thoughts to remember to lock any doors. Sofia simply got into the shower and let the warm water shower down on her and relax her body that had gotten slightly tense just form the very thought of what tomorrow was. There were so many reasons why she disliked it, and whenever anyone uttered 'Happy birthday' she would by nothing but unhappy.

The show that Alex was watching ended a couple minutes after Sofia had left the living room, and so Alex decided that he should take a shower now. Sofia wasn't in the bedroom when he went there to collect his clothes, but he could hear the water running in the shower when he got to the bathroom. Obviously she was taking a shower. Knowing that he would have to wait until she was finished, he placed his clean clothes on the floor by the bathroom door. After that, he remembered that his cup was still sitting in the living room. He took a couple minutes to retrieve the glass and take it back to the kitchen. When he returned to the bathroom, he didn't hear the sound of running water. Alex guessed that Sofia had finished already and had gone to the bedroom, and so he walked into the bathroom without knocking and announcing his arrival. The fact that the door wasn't locked seemed to prove that Sofia wasn't there.

Sofia was thinking about what tomorrow would bring, she was always unsure how that day went. Just last year she was told to come home and she had though there was some party waiting for her but instead it was just her parents letting her know that they were heading off on a vacation/business trip and of course she was given rules and she was expected to stay home. No, they did not wish her a happy birthday, they simply left her there disappointed and unloved as always. Sofia stood in the shower, the water making sure to disguise the tears that trickled down her face. But soon she finished her shower and stepped out though she forgot her towel due to the fact that she was so lost in thought. The moment she heard the door open she managed to cover herself up with one hand over the lower part of her body and her arm over her chest. The moment she looked at Alex, her face turned completely red though she wasn't the one to scream or anything stupid like that, she was too embarrassed to even open her mouth.
