"Wow...ya didn't mention that part," Max said. "But Az wouldn't let 'im close anyway, right?" She smiled. "It was all fine."
"...All's well that ends well." That was all he said on the matter. "Technically, the investigation is still open...some of the members aren't in custody, and we haven't figured out why they were so adamant about Violet."

Besides, you aren't telling what Azana nearly did to me, and we were pretty well in the same boat in regards to control, now weren't we? Not cool!")
Adam's brow furrowed. "Well...I guess all's well that ends well...but why was she attacking him?" he asked concernedly. "Does he do this often, getting into fights?"

"Things got pretty desperate when Kasdeya herself showed up...Remy was pushed to use his ace in the hole, and, well, so was Az." Sosol said at last, having learned full disclosure to be the best policy. "She invoked a being that didn't take well to Kasdeya...or Remy, being a vampire and all. It had no qualms about trying to finish them both at once."
He sighed. "None of this is really public knowledge, but having only half the story makes it nonsensical."
"Something that hates demons and vampires? What would she--" Max stopped, looking down at the picture of Sosol and Azana. "Really?"

(*grumbling* "Bloody superhero doesn't have to spend the next week tryin' to convince people he's not the stereotypical 'bloodsucking ghoul'...guess I'd better go back outside and keep fighting a stupid werewolf without killing her to save the Inn because I'm nice...Ai yai yai, no respect... *drifts off, kvetching to himself*)
Adam smiled and nodded. "Well, that's good, then...and don't worry, Sosol. I'm good at keeping secrets." He looled to the picture with Max and grinned. "As I said about magic; isn't it lovely?"
(Please pardon him, the sun makes him sweary and he has a chip on his shoulder. But I must away to bed! Good night!)

Max stared at the pictures before squinting slightly. "I...really don't know...I mean, some of 'em seem kinda familiar, but I don't know where from."
Stella walked in, dressed in a deeper blue than usual. Her long, blond hair sported a single streak of blue to match the ensemble. As she looked about the room, she gave a heavy sigh and wandered for the stairs.
Tyler glanced up to the sigh, quirking an eyebrow at Stella. "Since when did you dye your hair? Or is that just a glamour?" Noting that she seemed to be off in her own little world, he shrugged, continuing to work on blueprints for his work goggles.

"I wouldn't blame her if it was," Max replied, shuddering slightly. "I'd hate ta run inta somethin' like that..." She turned the page, freezing momentarily. She recognized part of the image; it was unmistakable.
This looks like...some a Remy's memory stuff...he didn't show her, did he?
"I'm not certain, and I refuse to fulfill the cliche about bad feelings concerning situations," Orrin answered her.
Stella walked down the halls upstairs as if she carried the entire world on her shoulders, every step slow and dragging. Her eyes were downcast, so it was a surprise that she didn't run into any walls.
Terry hastily entered the Inn, looking around the main room. "Please let me be right about this...have you guys seen a Stella running around?"
"She just--hold it. What do you mean "a Stella"?" Tyler asked, setting down his pencil.
"Well, there was this accident back at the apartment, and--"
"Stars above, Terry, you've already let it slip." In walked a platinum blonde Stella, her entire outfit a crisp white. She rolled her eyes, looking to Orrin, Charlotte, and Tyler. "So, where am I?"

"Seven, not including her," Terry answered, tilting his head toward the white Stella.
"Mm, and this is why I'm always so reluctant to sell things like these," Orrin sighed, shaking his head. "The Spirit Prism, yes?"
"I was cleaning out some old storage trunks of mine and stumbled across it again," she explained, holding it out to show the others. "Activating it was a complete accident, and before I knew it, seven Stellas were on the loose."
"We've been chasing them down since...I figured at least one would come here."
"And I'm guessing there are some ill side effects from prolonged separation," Tyler sighed, standing up and rolling the blueprints. "Need some extra eyes?"

"A comic book...? That could be nifty!" Max answered, though it was a bit of a facade...she knew what some of the images depicted, thanks to Remy. "Maybe that could be a good outlet...a lot of people like dark stuff like some of her drawings...they could be like a warning pamphlet in disguise."
"They are aspects of her being...with focus, they can be carved and controlled, but if activating it was an accident, I'm guessing you fractured among fault lines," Orrin frowned. "Our guest upstairs is likely her depression or sorrow."
"I've found one," Stella answered her, the prism glowing yellow momentarily. "This will make two...if the colors are corresponding to emotions, I'd say beware of Red and Green; I bet they'd be anger and jealousy, respectively. Otherwise, I really don't know."
"Or gray, in my case," Terry chuckled, trying for at least some humor in this situation.
Blue Stella leaned against a wall, slumping into a seated position not far from Gren and Eli's apartment.
