"Adam?" she blinked. "I'm in a good mood I guess... but you are worrying me..." she answered. For a moment she wondered if he was trying to break up their relationship, but she was almost certain it was not it.
"What is it?" she asked softly, standing back up and walking to him.

Adam gulped, looking rather like a worried puppy. "It wasn't her fault...her personality got split into seven, each one embodying an emotion. We were trying to curb Red, which is anger...I was trying to talk her down and reason with her. She threw this attack at Tyler, and he deflected it, or she rerouted it or something, but it hit me instead."
He almost smiled. "But it's okay...this sort of thing has happened to me before...It'll grow back."
