He smiled slightly, glancing at the tray a moment before looking back up. "I'd love some...please, come in." he said, opening the door into his exquisitely clean room, the sole dishevelment being the few things neatly taken out and fidgeted with in his idle time, a charming window box of herbs sitting in the sill.
Closing the door after her, he carefully opened a spare tray table with his hand and hip and set it by the bed. "Here...set that down, it looks heavy."

Zulma looked at him and how he seemed to accomodate his one limb. If he did not have worm DNA, he would be like that forever.
The innkeeper put down the tray and realized that it was her first time in his room, if she remembered well.
"I'm sorry for earlier." she blurted out, needed to get over with it. She truly looked pained and did not look at him.

Still standing in the middle of the room, Zulma sighed.
"You know I'd be worried anyway..." she said softly. "It's not because I am not here, that I don't...care..you know..."
She did not know what to say.
"Imagine if you weren't part worm..." she whispered. "I...I don't want you to get hurt..."

He carefully poured tea, ever carrying his slight smile. "I know that you care...I wouldn't have wanted you out there either. I was trying to solve a problem, and didn't think I'd be in any danger...this really was an accident. If there's anyone to blame, it's my own naiivety."

Stella heaved a sigh, putting up her hair as she gazed into the mirror. I bring nothing good here...but...where else would I have turned? She shook her head, leaving the mirror behind in favor of the door...if no one was around, perhaps she could get a song in before she took her harp home.
Tyler walked out of his room, oddly decked out in goggles and a pair of gloves. Everything finally ready for the task at hand...but where to begin? He had a whole Inn to check over.
Those keys are mighty, but I doubt they automatically update wiring...and with the tech in here, we're just asking for an outage.

A meow came from the floor by Stella's ankles, Fritz rubbing against her shin.
Zippo lapped happily at his tea in the main room, paying nobody mind.

Stella grinned, crouching to pet the kitten. "Hello...they're letting you wander now?"
Tyler opted to go for the kitchen, figuring people could survive well enough in their rooms without power. The refrigerator, or freezer, or...well, he didn't want to know what the drinkamajig would do with a power surge.
He walked in, setting out a music player to give him some tunes while he worked. It did always make the time pass easier than the silence, or his own thoughts. They seemed to race a bit these days, something he blamed on the recent stress.

Fritz nuzzled affectionately, now a gangly teenage cat, purring madly. He had a friend in this one; he remembered her.
Remy yawned, emerging from his room, clay under his nails from a new sculpture. "Mmm..! Feels good!" he smiled.

"At least I can make you happy," Stella said, shifting to sit down in the hall and pet the cat. If she needed to move, fine...but the cat would come with.
Maybe Az was onto something with Moonbeam...a pet could be nice...
Tyler was already forearm deep in the wall, chuckling at the ease of it all. Half the time had to do with dissembling and rebuilding things...being able to fix it without was amazing.
Imagine if everyone had a set-up like mine...of course, that assumes they'd have any idea how to use it.
Azana strolled in, a large smile on her face. "Ah...gotta love the fall! It's coming...I can feel it."

Remy waved, nodding, sipping a glass of nectar. "You got that right, Az!"

Zulma shook her head softly. "No the others should have known. They are used to dangerous situations...you aren't." she brushed his cheek.
Then she noticed his shirt and chuckled, slowly unbuttoning it.

"My favorite part of fall? This stuff!" She lifted it like a trophy, a fresh half-gallon of apple cider. "Just doesn't taste right the rest of the year...hey, who's got music playing?"
Tyler hummed along with the song on at the moment, by now completely absorbed in his work. "Won't you look at me, I'm crazy...but I get the job done. Yeah, I'm crazy, but I get the job done!"
Stella watched him pull it in, melting a little inside. Okay, it's official...I need a cat.

Zulma had to admit that he sounded more mature than before and she liked that. "You are right...still..."
As his shirt was totally open and he commented, she blinked and flushed.
"I did not mean to...I...you had buttoned it the wrong way..." she tried to explain herself, flustered that such an intimate gesture had come to her so naturally.
