Zippo trotted over easily, dewy gold eyes shining, smiling cutely. "Haro, fuudo! Aiichu!" he cheeped with a trill. "Yuu tasutii!"

Fenyx smiled. "Not really... I did some stupid stuff, got a ridiculously powerful magic item, was cursed by it, and to avoid having to truly die and then give my soul to some random Lovecraftian nightmare, I turned my body into a crystal and was able to become a demon. Now I can possess people wearing my crystal, but that's about it..."
Maynii landed on the table, nervous. "Um... what does 'aiichu' mean? Does the chibi have a cold?"

Fenyx nodded. "Well, I already have a host, so I would have to give them up to possess you... It's not really worth it to change hosts since I can't access their abilities anyway... Besides, they might be pretty mad if I let them wake up." He yawned... "I'm going to go find a room upstairs, okies? Good nights!"
Maynii took the chibi's advice, and ran across the table, but was soon stopped by the edge. "D-don't hurt me, little guy..."

Max hummed in thought. "So...bad folks become demons, huh? Doesn't seem right...wouldn't good people become angels, by that line?" She kicked her legs, thinking it over.
Sosol waved them both off to bed, cleaning glasses. Az could talk to him tomorrow, after all. Besides, it was getting late...he should be joining her, not the other way around.

The hole happened to be a teacup, which knocked over, trapping Maynii inside. Zippo hopped on top of the cup and chittered eagerly. "Kachu!"

"It's been a while since we had a really good party...I'm sure Gren and Zulma would approve." He would have mentioned Eli, but the redhead hadn't been around in such a long time...business couldn't possibly take this long.
Violet shyly knocked on Orrin's door, feeling out of options as far as help. "O-Orrin...? Can I talk to you...?"

Adam blinked, thinking. "Ah...well, that's all the people I've met here." he said with mild embarrassment. "I haven't been out much...I mean, there's some people I've met, but I haven't become friends properly...why don't we invite people everyone knows and a few we don't?"

"I'll put out the bulletin," Sosol smiled, jotting down a note and already brainstorming some people to invite.
"Damn straight!" Max agreed with her boyfriend on the stairs. "Hey, Rembrandt! How ya been, huh?"
"Mm? Oh, Miss Violet," Orrin greeted drowsily at he opened his door. "How can I help you...?"
"I...I was wondering...if you had paint," she asked. "Paint that changes color."
"Well, I can certainly look...but right now, you seem troubled. Does it have to do with the paint?" He asked, backing away from the doorway and inviting her in.

"Sorry, hon...we were just in the first stages; ya know I'll never make a party without includin' my favorite supercool artist!" Max met him partway, landing a kiss on him. "It's gonna be a costume party, and here...but we don't have when or an estimate of the guest list."
Violet nodded, taking a seat. "I...I've been in trouble at school," she explained, fidgeting with her hat in her lap. "I...I can't paint...in red. I've tried, but I can't do it." She shook her head.
Orrin nodded sagely. "It reminds you of the past, doesn't it...?"
Violet choked up, silently nodding. "Please...if you have it...something that turns red later..."
"I'll check," he said, patting her shoulder. "Why don't you take a break while I look...? You seem to need one."
