Adam waved. "Tyler, is there any way we could hang up one of those cool colorful light displays?"
"Ooh, someone's been planning a party for a while."
"W-well, maybe."

"That's not a problem," Tyler answered. "Well, except for some of the rooms left...might blow a circuit in there unless I finish up quickly."
"Ya got a couple weeks. Think ya can finish the wirin' an' make yourself a costume?" Max asked playfully, happy with how this was turning out so far.
"You do realize who you're talking to, right?" Tyler retorted. "There won't be an issue."

Remy grinned, leaning over and murmuring to Adam. "Thanks for throwing this...Max really needed a pick-me-up, I think."
Adam smiled cheerfully. "It was practically her idea, really...but I'm glad everyone's so happy about it. I think it'll be good for everyone, like Enta and Felix."
"Oh yeah? You're gettin' to be good pals with those guys, aren't you?"
"I hope so. They're very nice people!"

Max was already on her phone, chatting up a storm. "Uh-huh! I'll need a coupla fog machines...of course you're invited!"
Sosol chuckled, sending out a mental bulletin to everyone he could contact in range. "I believe we may have to have this outside...the main room may be too small."
"Heating units," Tyler nodded. "A few of them...like the ones in the city patios...I can rig that."

Gren blinked at the message and headed downstairs. "A party, you say?"

Aravilui had managed to miss his opportunity to give his carving to Gren earlier, and was determined not to miss it this time. If he could be discreet about it, anyway.
Slipping downstairs again, he realized that was... likely impossible at the moment. Well that was frustrating. Oh well, he could maybe try to socialize like normal sane people did.
Though the word 'party' nearly had him ready to go hide in his room again. That word usually led to problems for him back home.

"Huh? Oh...well, it's kinda my arrangement with the guy. I get rentals, and he gets to see the final product, ya know? Well, that and a short plug." Max smiled.
"A costume party," Sosol answered. "October 15...usually a safe date before stuff gets crazy. It's also doubling as a mixer for Adam. They were wondering if we could hold it within the Inn, or at least on its grounds."

Gren chuckled, raising an eyebrow. "Are you kidding? A party's just what we need! Don't wreck the place and we're clear; I'll try telling Zulma, somehow."

Zulma stepped in the Inn, still feeling fooling at herself for the argument she had with Gren and how she spoke to him.
As she raised her eyes, she found herself face to face with both Adam and Gren.
"Oh...hi." she said. She had hoped for a few minutes to put herself together.

Zulma felt guilty at both Adam's beaming smile and Gren's grey expression. She did not deserve the first yet deserve the second.
She managed a smile back with a soft chuckle.
"I am glad, truly."
She crossed the room and handed each man a little box.
"I know that presents don't erase what I have done or said, but..." she sighed. "I guess this is my way of saying I am sorry."
She looked more at Gren than Adam as she spoke.
