[RP] The Inn of Peace - IoP (Open to all)

[The Artist Rose]

Rose sat and processed all that Mistress Angeles had told her. She took the drink Gren had given her graciously as she could. Then she turned and looked over to Yin and Yang.

"Mistress Angeles," She began, "Do you think I could try to get their mistress to give you your...thingy that's really yours?"  

[Angeles Valentine]

"MacPere, come down my friend," she said, turning her head towards the stairs, "the spider is presently not here, and I will take care of it if it returns," she sipped more of the nectar. She looked at Rose and said, "you could try, but if i couldn't threaten my way into achieving it I;m not sure there's anything you can do to get it back for me. Oh well," she said, reaching up and touching her locket, "I suppose I have the important one..., the one with his picture in it," she looked at Rose and smiled, "would you like to see my husband?"

"Spiders and vampires and dogs, oh my!" he said with a chuckle. "When did my life turn itno 'The Wizard of Oz'?"  

[MacPere]

"Uh... Right."

MacPere stood straight and strolled down the stairs as though nothing had happened, beaming at all of the inn's inhabitants. "Good evening all~"

[Gren_Eckener]

Gren beamed at MacPere's sunny disposition. "Feeling better? Those burns didn't look too comfy.."

(I did see them, both of yours. I lol'd and posted a gift for you, Ange~ Oh, and I made an announcement about my upcoming schdule, page 30 OOC.)  

[MacPere]

"Not comfortable at all, but it could have been worse~" MacPere walked to Gren and seized his chin, planting a soft kiss on his lips. "And much better, thank you~"  

[Angeles Valentine]

Angeles smiled at MacPere as he came down the stairs and she took another sip of nectar. Hopefully the spider would not make an appearance, she didn't want a repeat of last night.

"Sure! I'd love to see a picture of your husband." Rose said excitedly. Then she paused with a confused expression on her face. "What's a husband?"  

[Angeles Valentine]

Angeles had clicked open her locket and looked over at Rose as she asked her question, "it's...." she looked over at Gren and MacPere for help, "someone that you love and that you spend the rest of your life with. Except mine died..."

"Hello, MacPere. Don't worry. Moriko and her friends are not here." Hearing Angeles' companion, he turned to them and said "Angeles, who is your charming friend? I don't believe I've met her before."

Yin looked over at Knight and Yang. It didn't seem that Yang was successful in getting Knight' attention, but he kept trying. Yin continued to sit at the table and let her eyes wander around the room.  

[MacPere]

"My wife, the female equivalent to a husband... She died too. You see, it's someone that you love so much, your life is completely consumed by them and you wouldn't want to live any other way. That person who... makes you forget life as it is and only see the rosy side... you know?"  

[Gren_Eckener]

Smiling after the kiss, he murmured "I'm glad that I could help ease the pain.."

Gren mentally opened a dictionary, as those terms seemed to work best for Rose. "A husband is a male companion to whom you make a legal, physical, and emotionally binding bond to spend the rest of your life with. It's an expression of love, to a high degree."

Yin listened in on the conversation, semi-interested. She didn't know what a husband was either. Kageko had never taught her.  

[MacPere]

"... Or maybe Gren's more logical definition works better, ha~"

MacPere strolled to the bar and took himself down a glass, pouring the rich port into it.
