"Sounds rough," murmured Angeles then stood with a smile, "sorry to cut our reunion short, Remy, I need to rest. I will be gone again in the morning, I have some things to take care of, but I'll be back in a few days," I can't establish a pattern, she thought to herself then grimaced, recalling Sol was in the room, "Azana, Sol, when I return, I would like to speak with you." she gave them a kindly smile before looking back at Stellaluna and the emotion drained from her face.

"You are a joke," grumbled Stellaluna, feeling more and more of his time wasted.

"Starmoon--."

"Stellaluna."

"We're going to bed."

The bat said no more, leaping from his spot and flapping once to Angeles, hooking onto her sholder and glaring at Charlotte as they retreated. Angeles wished she had more time to visit, but contented herself that she would soon, if Sol and Azana could help her.

Sosol sighed, waving Angeles off to bed. "Honestly...just because it happened once or twice..." He shook his head, pouring himself a glass of water before making a second for Azana.

Azana could see it in Sol's expression; he was worried, too...though he probably had a better idea why than she did. "I guess I can give her a full update later..."

Seeing Angeles walk upstairs, Max looked at the staircase for a bit before joining Remy. "Ya really missed her...I kinda did, too, but I feel like, well, she doesn't wanna talk ta me much anymore."

"Hm," Tyler glanced up, then back down at his plans. October was here...and it looked like just as much mayhem as other years.

"You missed an old face around here," Tyler answered, taking the phone with a nod. "A vampire named Angeles...she has a long history with the Inn."

"I gotcha...she's not like when she helped me anymore, though. An' I don't like how that dumb bat is bossin' her around." Max scowled. "Makes me wanna put the squeeze on 'im, but I can't."

Sosol watched the others talk, his mind occupied with concerns and possibilities. If she wants to speak to both of us...why do I have the feeling I'm going to be in over my head again?

Nothing I can't handle, Azana repeated the mantra in her head for a moment while she sipped her water. "That feels good...I forgot how demanding it is to sing like Pat."

"Not when you're me," Max reminded him. "Still, you're right...it wouldn't do anything."

"Depends on who you ask," Tyler answered. "She's helped a lot of people here...and hurt a lot of people here, too. Overall, though...I would say yes, she's kind, in her own way."

"I kinda forgot about that part," Max said sheepishly. "Why does everything hafta bite?"

"I can't say, unfortunately...you'd have to talk to Az and Sol about that," Tyler shrugged. "Either way, I don't think she's been sent after us. In better subjects, I think I've almost gotten my costume figured out."

Azana got herself a refill, watching Sosol search through costumes.

"Easy enough ta do," Max smiled.

Tyler took a second look at the plans, chuckling as he realized his quick and messy handwriting made things a bit difficult to decipher. "It looks a lot more complicated than it is...I should be able to get it together in time, though."

Slowly, as night started to fall, a rather massive stranger walked through the front doors. His body so large, he had to lower his head and enter walking sideways. He looked around the inn and stood next to the entrince, his black out fit appeared to slightly absorb any light that touched it.
