Gren beamed. "Sounds like that's set...now...what gems are in that tiara?"
He looked bashful. "I think it's more of just a natural advantage in being able to memorize all of that...I'm really good with soils."

Violet's eyes widened as she gasped inaudibly. "Y-you can't...you're not serious..." Her head shook slowly...this couldn't be happening.
Azana chuckled. "We're a generous sort around here," she said, patting Violet's shoulder lightly. "He learned from the best."
"I'd answer that, but I rather like your current perceptions of me," Tyler answered. "Let's just leave it at 'I wasn't always kind'."

He hummed. "Silver it is...it's a safer metal, protective." he nodded, making a mental note before chuckling. "Of course I'm serious...everyone needs to have at least one really nice piece of jewelry in their lives."
Adam shrugged. "Even mean people have their own kindnesses...if you were trying to do something good, even if it seems bad, then I can't say it's a problem by now." he smiled. "I haven't met anyone here that's really all that bad, no matter how they want to be seen."

"Angeles," Azana said, looking to Gren before Adam. "Angeles Valentine."
"What she said...a vampire. She has a longer history here than I do...or Az, for that matter," he answered. "She has...also done mean things in the name of good intentions."
"She's been gone for a couple days," Azana said quickly, knowing the Innkeepers probably would have liked to hear about this sooner. "B-but she'll be back...I don't know when."

Gren was quiet a moment, blinking once as he took in the news, before smiling crookedly. "I see...well, we'll just have to keep blood on tap, as usual...keep her away from Eli and my mother-in-law, and this should be fine."
He looked back to Violet. "Couldn't paint in red...well, isn't that something...how'd you solve that?"
Adam blinked, frowning slightly. "...Sounds like there's still some hurt feelings..."

"Ah, the memories," Tyler said sarcastically, sipping his drink again. "Still, it could've been worse...no one got killed over it."
"Orrin...he had a chameleon paint...it goes on gray, but turns whatever color I want..." Violet said. "Usually...red."
