"Hibachi sounds amazing," Orrin beamed. "Nothing like an interactive dinner."
"I see...as long as I follow you, I should be okay..." Violet nodded. "I don't find it sexist if it's true...I can't see a woman leading in a dress like this..."
Tyler bowed as best he could with the heavy pack, retreating to the side to set it down at last. He had made his entrance, they knew his costume...no point in being sore in the morning.
Stella found herself without a partner, but she didn't mind...Max seemed ready to set up a new song. She could dance alone.

Jeff smiled. "You got a point." He was glad she understood what he meant.
The music came to a stop and he halted, bowed to her then leading her back slowly to her seat.
"Thank you for dancing with me." he said without leaving her side.
Zulma noticed Tyler coming their way.
"Impressive costume!" she commented. "Heavy hey?" she asked as he removed it.
"I had to remove my wig earlier too. Too heavy and too troublesome." she chuckled.
"Cider?" she offered him kindly.

Adam sipped his cider happily. "Delicious...my favorite brand."
"They're the best, seriously...I love trying to catch the egg when they throw it!" she smiled, nibbling a cookie. "Though I always wind up getting chicken and shrimp teriyaki. Dunno why."
"Reach for it...reach..!"
"Waaaaaniiit! Giiiimiiiii!"

"Yes, please," Tyler nodded, tempted to remove the helmet as well but knowing he probably had a horrible case of hat-head beneath. "It's accurate, it works, but I didn't have time to figure the most lightweight options..."
"Thank you...it's probably one of the few dances I'll have until I change," Violet answered, taking a seat. "I love the dress, though...feeling special and beautiful..."
"I haven't had hibachi in a while...most places I've been have been for sushi. Or una-don..." Orrin smiled contentedly. "So simple, and yet so delicious."
"Let's get back to the party!" Max called, moving into a remix of "Dead Man's Party". She bobbed her pumpkin head to the beat, pitching a little candy out for the chibis.

Jeff bowed again.
"You're welcome. And anytime." he added. He liked dancing, one of the few things he enjoyed outside of fencing, fighting and training.
"And if I may, you do look beautiful tonight." He said believing every word he said.
"Would you like anything to drink?" he asked kindly, knowing that she could not walk much.
"There is a saying "One has to suffer to be pretty!"" Zulma chuckled as she poured him a glass.
"Here you go."
She stared at the helmet.
"Tyler? May I try it?" she asked with a child-like voice and wide eyes. From close by it looked awesome!

"Oooh, I do love a good sushi...and don't get me started on unagi...or takoyaki." she sighed dreamily. "You wouldn't think, just by the sound of it, but it's fantastic!"
Remy tapped Stella's shoulder. "Mind to share this with a real dead man?" he grinned.
"Giimii!" he insisted, jumping for it, grabbing the treat and gnawing on it in Maro's fingers, the man laughing happily.

"Mm...I'm assuming you know a very good place for them," Orrin smiled. "You're making me anticipate this more and more..."
Violet clasped her hands together, looking away bashfully. "Thank you, Jeff...I think a glass of water would be nice...for now."
"Why not?" Stella asked in reply. "How have you and Max been...? I haven't heard many updates..."
"You want to try the pack...?" Tyler echoed, looking to it. "Well, it's not rocket science to operate...you'll just need a quick lesson."

She thought a moment, nibbling her cookie. "...Yes, I think I know just the place." she smiled. "Hey, why don't we make it a konpa, or at least bring a bunch of friends?"
"We're doing well! She had me lay out the decorations for this...she really had a lot of fun planning this." he smiled. "She really lives for these sort of things."

In her pixie outfit, jumping down happily, Zulma looked more like a kid than an innkeeper.
"I listen! What do I do? Oh what is this button?" she asked with a bright smile.
"I am a good student!" she said seriously with a bright smile.
Jeff winked at Violet, he would remind her the 'for now' later, and walked to the bar to pour a glass of water for the young woman.
He came back later with two glasses.
"Here you go." he said. When she had her glass in hand, he drank a little bit of his.
He wanted to talk a little, but he was not really good with discussion.

One of the twin dolls made his way over to Adam. as he gazed up, teal eyes made it clear it was Enta.How are you liking the party, Adam?" he asked with a sweet smile. He seemed about to say something else when the door creaked open and the catboy's eyes went wide.
Ducking to fit through the door, a fourteen foot tall man with forward pointing horns and fangs protruding from his lower lip entered. He straightened his yukata and gazes around until he spotted the Elvis impersonator. "Felix! Man, sorry I'm late. Work ran over, you know how things are."
Felix smiled broadly, making his way over to the Oni. "Hey, Youki. Glad you could make it. Awesome costume."
"Well, best costume is one that's real, right?" the goliat man laughed.
(And I apologize for my long absence. Family matter kept me away this evening.)

Tufted tail giving a flick, the giant blinked at the question for a moment before bursting into laughter again. "Oh, man, where are my manners? I'm sorry, I'm Youki." he crouched down, offering a giant hand, "Pleased to meet you. I'm Felix's tatto artist."
"He's the one doing the wolf and roses tattoo for me."

Violet blushed, watching Jeff as he retrieved the water. She accepted it with a grateful nod, taking a long sip. The question she was about to ask balled up in her throat at the party's latest guest. Her grip on her cup tightened, her eyes wide as she stared at him. Why did I leave my bracelet upstairs...? Wait...did he say tattoo artist...?
"For starters, never say those words again," Tyler said, cringing at the thought. "The 'what does this do' question never ends well...this switch turns off the safety lock, this button starts the ignition sequence, and this shuts it down slowly, giving you a smooth landing. Always be sure to be perpendicular to the ground when you activate that...navigation is mostly intuitive, so I doubt you'll have issue there."
Azana and Sosol blinked in surprise at the newcomer, relieved when they realized it knew Felix. "Welcome to the Inn of Peace!" Azana greeted, waving up to the tall man.

Adam shook the large hand with both of his. "The pleasure's entirely mine! My name is Adam Terrus; welcome to the party! Could I offer you anything to eat or drink?"
"That was you? From what I saw of it, that tattoo's gorgeous!"
Gren hummed, looking their new friend over. "Well well! We match!" he grinned.

Youki waved to Azana and shook Adam's hand carefully. "Pleasure's mine really. And yes! Whoever came up with the design is a genius! I just tweaked the style and form a tad to match what Felix wanted." He nodded to Gren. "We do! Is yours authentic as well?"
