Taking his plate, Jeff walked to a closer chair from where he could see better. "Wow that's dark!" he commented with an approving grin.
Zulma stepped in the Inn, holding the door for Tyler whose hands were full with the gear.

"Well, the rough bit for him was that he was the one who undid her boyfriend from the book spell...and he was kind of an a**." Gren admitted. "Not a bad guy, just...kind of annoying. When he found out, he wasn't a happy guy...he's a lot better when he has a semi-normal date." he laughed gently.

Tyler walked in, setting the gear aside for the moment. Wow, she's really intense under that hospitality, he thought, fixing himself something to drink.
Violet nodded. "I have...quite a few dark pieces," she said. "I actually like this one..."
"Goodness...so complicated!" Orrin shook his head. "It makes some of my relations seem perfectly mundane."

"It was convoluted...the story takes longer than I want and I'd mess up parts, probably, but let's call it an existential crisis given physical form, and a sorta paradox from it...crazy stuff, and that's rich, coming from me." he sighed.

Zulma put the helmet next to the gear. She could feel that Tyler seemed maybe a little disappointed by her but at least she was true to herself.
Jeff ate his crepes while watching Violet. "I have not seen the others, but this one is nice. I like the atmosphere." he tried to explain, but he was not an art expert.
((Bed time, good night guys <3 ))

"Sounds like it," Orrin blinked. "I'm not sure I need to know the details..."
Tyler flashed her a smile, trying to let her know there were no ill feelings whatsoever. If anything, he was even more impressed by this other side of her. He always had a slight thing for feisty blondes.
Besides...knowing that Angeles is lying...that can be leverage...
"W-well...some of it...is autobiographical," she said sadly, not sure if she should really be burdening him with her tragic tales...

Gren shook his head, smiling crookedly. "You really don't. It's all past now. Can I refresh your drink, though?"

Angeles stepped in silently as possible, but in an inn full of people, it was difficult to not be noticed. She had only ever managed it once, when she had first come to this place. She looked up breifly, then back, down, afraid of who she might find in the room.
Instead, she shut her eyes and the door and sent out a thought, 'Sosol, are you here?'

Gren looked up from his place a the bar, blinking. "Well, hello, stranger." he smiled crookedly.

Angeles tensed at the voice then relaxed with a sigh. Oh well, if the bat woke up, she'd kill him, "it's been a while," she said looking up at Gren from under the brim of her hat. Apology was set deep in her eyes. She had not forgotten the harm she had done to the man, and forgiveness was a precious comodity to her, if she could not spare it to others such as Stella, there was definately none for herself.
"How have you been?"

Sosol heard the call, replacing his sunglasses and heading downstairs. He'd have to grab Stella on the way, if she was still here...otherwise, it was another house call.
Tyler looked over his work to Angeles, Zulma's words still fresh in his mind. Still, now was not the time to play that trump card. He'd wait, and analyze, and watch...just like he used to.
Now I'm getting nostalgic... He smirked, eyes on the data.

"I'm all right..." he nodded. "Party did us all some good, last Saturday. Cooled everyone right off from a lot of stress." He smiled gently. "Hungry?"

"Ah, so I missed something fun," she said, slipping into a relaxed tone of voice and away from the door, "no, thank you," she said to the offer, "the time I have should really be spent looking for Sosol and Azana, they're helping me with a project," it was best not to burden her old friend with her problems.

"As long as he's asleep, we're fine," Stella explained, rushing downstairs with the glowing quartz. "I'll make this as quick as I can...thank the heavens I thought to store it." She wasted no time, finding out last try just how precious it was.
Sosol wasn't far behind, though he had little to actually do at the moment, besides being what seemed to be the liaison for this project.
Tyler hummed in thought, beginning to work at isolating each wavelength in the data. One of them had to be tuned to the controller, or it wouldn't work, right...?
