Gren smiled kindly, pouring a dish of blood for the bat. "Here, Stellaluna...bear with us a bit longer; us humans get sentimental about goodbyes, you know."

"Oh, is that what this is?" purred the bat, turning to the dish of blood, otherwise ignoring Gren's existence. He drank some before lifting his head and licking his chops and adding, "how human of you Angeles, I thought we were past this already. Oh well I suppose it can't be helped, with your will in teh state its in presently. Could you be a little more quick about it though?" He grumbled, each of his sugar-coated words dripping with venom. He turned and scrambled onto Angeles' shoulder and perched looking at the group.

"Well? Angeles? Say goodbye so we can get out of here once and for all."

Angeles closed her eyes and tightened her hand into a fist. The image of the deathwhisper came to her mind, but she couldn't call it to her hand. Then D would know....

"Charlotte?" That name had not come up before.

"The one who called you cute," murmured Angeles into her fist.

"That catterpiller!?" roared Stellaluna in sudden outrage, his hackles raising. He ground and snarled at the very thought then settled slightly and demanded, "well where is she!?"

Angeles snarled under her breath but both vampire and bat were suddenly distracted by the chibi.

"What... on earth is that?" mumbled the bat stunned. Angeles beamed suddenly like sunshine, recalling now the adorable little people she had dotted on so long ago in Emily's absence.

Stellaluna stared at the chibi, maw agape before leaning away from it as it came closer. Angeles looked down at the small thing, extending her hand to it. The little creatures' language was difficult for her to understand. English being her second to begin with, but after a moment she could understand what the thing was saying and looked over at Stellaluna with a cruel smirk, "I think he's a little too big for you to eat."

"It wants to do what now!?" screamed the bat, eyes wide at teh creature, "pitiful... thing! Don't you know what I am!?"

Angeles laughed, it was like ice. How easily she was so rid of the bat at the hands of the adorable little creature, "gladly, go right ah--," she paused then tightly closed her eyes at a sudden migrain. Damnit, not when she was so close! She put her hand to her head and shook it, her vision blurring slightly. Had something happened because of Stella's magic so close to the connection? It didn't feel like the push she received from not obeying the order given. Just a migrain.

"Rain check on that Zippo," she said a little breathlessly, "I have to go outside for a bit, enjoy the night, I'll be back soon, sometime tomorrow, to say goodbye to Charlotte."

"Move. Pawn." growled the bat in a deep voice that was not to be ignored. Angeles closed one eye as her vision split again and made her way to the door as it started to right itself. With a single graceful movement the door was open and she was gone, leaving the door wide opena nd the group behind in the warm inn.

Enta stepped through the door, still smiling. "Ah, it's good to be back. I've got to get this butter in the fridge. Thanks again for the help, Adam." he said, hanging his coat on a peg. Turning to Gren and the others. "Hi, Gren. Who was your friend?"

Tyler watched her leave, a little concerned about the migraine but moreso about Stella's drained state. Hopping up from his laptop, he went to see about something quick and light. Besides, he was hungry, too.

Sosol watched her leave, Enta sliding in with Adam not long after. He grinned, heading to the bar to fix drinks and sending some water to Stella.

She couldn't wipe that grin off her face...it was a feeling she had forgotten over the past couple of months. She felt hopeful, incredibly so.

"Haiiiii~" cooed Zippo, rubbing Enta's finger, knowing well who not to bite. "Enta puriitii~!"

"I'm sure, thought she's sorta busy these days." he smiled. "Did you have fun out?"

"Yes! We got tea; the new pumpkin spice kind." he nodded. "It was better than I thought...we miss anything?"

"Ah, no, nothing, really...But I'm thinking pie's in our future."
