Zulma nodded with a wink and talked to someone for while before coming back towards Gren.
"Done!"
"The babysitter will be there shortly. This is a robot so it won't let the little creeper do more than it should."
She looked at his coffee.
"May I offer you something to eat?"

"She's not a bad kid...maybe a little slow on the uptake, but not bad." he admitted. "A robot! Hey! Might be a good friend for Jean-Luke...ah, food. Uh...whatever you like. I havrn't eaten, so I really ought to."

Zulma was preparing something sweet for Gren when the babysitter robot arrived. The innkeeper gave Gren his plate with a smile then turned to the robot.
"I am Ophelia, babysitter." said the humanoid robot with white hair pulled up in a bun like a grandma.
"Nice to meet you Ophelia. This is Gren and I am Zulma."
The robot nodded then asked.
"Where is the child?"
Zulma pointed in the direction of the room. "Over there."
"Thank you." Ophelia answered and then added. "I will do as you asked."
This time Zulma was the one thanking.
With that Ophelia slid more than walked to the door of the little five year old. She posted herself in front of it so that the child could not step out without bumping into her.

She smiled. It seemed they were finding solutions to their problems.

Lili skipped out the door by herself after a warm but restless night. She was happy and ready for more time with 'kitty.' Naturally, she bumped into someone. Without looking and out of reflex she clasped her hands together and bowed at the waist respectfully, "I'm sorry," she said sweetly, but more out of regard for her mistake than actually being sorry. She then looked up and her smile turned to an expression of awe looking up at the woman and blinking several times.
"For the fifth time I'm not abandoning the child!" roared the dragon into the inn but settled by the wall grumbling. She herself was pleased that they had found someone to take care of Lili, someone more suited to a human's needs than a dragon, who hunted for food, ate it raw, and could not fit into the inn. Grumbling still she settled onto her side, keeping her head close to a window so that she could monitor what was going on inside, "please allow her to practice her reading and writing."

Ophelia looked at the window and blinked at the sight of the dragon. Then she looked back at the child and back at the dragon.
"Why is the child in and you out if you are taking care of it?" asked the robot without a smile.

The dragon looked at the manmade caretaker and turned slightly and said slowly, "I am too large to fit in such a small establishment."
"Kitty is too big," simplified Lili with a smile.

Ophelia looked at the dragon.
"Then if it is yours, why is the child in?" she wondered without seeming touched by the previous obvious answer of the dragon. She did not even glance at the child.

"She is not my child, only my ward, it is too cold for her out here, so she is inside," what on earth was going on in the world nowadays honestly? Lung were suspected of being malevolent, human children thought to be the spawn of dragons. The dragon sighed and shook her head. What a world. Lili, growing bored with the conversation moved away from the woman and the window and made her way downstairs. The dragon also promptly relocated in order to see through the windows of the main room. The girl hopped off the last stair and smiled, standing on tiptoe as if to find something, then finally located the kitchen and went inside to find something easy to eat, like bread.
