VI continued to smile at Set for a while, what could probably be considered awkwardly, but then VI moved his chin from his hand and looked around. The man that he wanted to speak to was still not awake it seemed, "well the best cure for boredom is to do something."

VI stood from his seat and walked calmly over to Set, in no hurry at all, "I know we don't know each other, but I'm sure neither of us know much of where we are. Why not come exploring with me for a while?" the tone of voice VI spoke with was light, almost a whisper, and had an airy or dreamy tone to it as if VI was not entirely awake yet. His constantly half-open eyes did not help this theory.

VI smiled kindly, closing his eyes for a brief moment before walking past to the door, freely showing his back to Set. He opened the door and stood to the side, waiting for the man to go through first.

VI tilted his head watching the group. His mind once again returned to his own, wondering when and where he would find them. He shook the thoughts away though and walked through the door to lead the way, since Set seemed to be falling a little behind.

Some time later, yawning, a small young woman strolled downstairs, no more than sixteen, with flyaway hair in tight waves tied back and pinned, revealing an impressive portwine stain across the top of her face. "Whozis..?" she asked, looking at Rei and Apnu.

Adam smiled. "Friends I made over Halloween...come join us!"

She rubbed an eye, smiling and curtseying. "Good to meet you." replied the girl. "My name is Charlotte...Charmed! And you are?"

"Oh ho ho, just Charlotte will do..." she nodded with a clever grin. "But it's lovely to meet you both; did you travel well?"

Adam nodded. "They didn't come too far...did you sleep well?"

"Brilliantly. It was so hard, being a voice of reason. Totally not my style."

"That must have been rough."

"It was...Angeles was being very odd, then we got the werewolf and the brat bat. Anyhow..." She offered her hands to Apnu and Rei. "Very well met."

"So! You followed our Adam home, didja? Well, good on you! I think you'll enjoy your stay, however long it might be. You know the rule, right?" she asked cheerfully. "There's only one, so life here is pretty simple."

Remy set down his glass. "The rule is: No fighting indoors. That's all."

"You'd be amazed how often people want to break it." she laughed. "Don't mean to give you the grill here, but we've gotten all sorts in here, so...you know."

"I don't think that'll be a problem." smiled Adam from his seat. "Since nobody weird followed us!"
