Lili smiled, "the puppy is doing tricks!" she handed Gren some of the raw meat, her small hand covered in the thin blood from it, "he's smart, tell him to do something!"
Kru blinked at Gren then turned away from him and letting his head droop close to the ground, "aww, what's the matter puppy?" Lili took a few steps closer and hugged Kru around the neck againa nd petted him gently.
He wanted to respond to Charlotte, to say that Angeles wasn't his alpha, that no one was anymore, but he did not have any will to talk right now. He was making someone happy being a dog anyway, talking might ruin it for the little girl.
Stellaluna looked over at Tyler. Of course it would have been him to make such a thing, "a machine shouldn't smile, or talk. ONly do things."

Adam strolled down the stairs and tapped Charlotte on the shoulder. "You were yelling about hibachi...is there a party or something?"
"Can be...wanna go?"
He nodded. "Yeah!"
Gren simply offered the meat, holding it out.

"It's a much more efficient interface," Tyler retorted. "A machine that can tell you what's wrong with it speeds repairs. The emoticons are to be more user-friendly...and if you're freaked out by Jim, you'll jump right out of your skin when you meet Jean-Luc."
Orrin grinned to Charlotte...while he did enjoy the private time they had now and then, hibachi was just as fun in a group. Besides, he had been isolated enough as of late.
Max hummed in front of her mirror, half-dressed as she compared some Japanese inspired items from her wardrobe. "Hmm...I do look good in pink, but..."

"Were we going for Chinese, I'd suggest you go in mandarin orange." grinned the vampire, lacing his Docs.
"May I invite someone?"

"Enta!"
"Go ask 'im, then...we're kind of a lot of people, so he might be a little shy."
"Ohhh, yeah. Okay!" he nodded, heading back up the stairs to inquire.

Enta managed to wander downstairs. He had been sick lately and had hid in his room so that he would not get anyone else sick. The frail-looking catboy waved to those in the room, making his way to the kitchen for water.

Kru took the meat from Gren's hand and held it in his mouth as the girl finally released him. She took a piece and put it across Kru's nose. This was something Kru did not understand and he tried to look at the meat, turning his head from one side to the other, causing Lili to giggle.
"I did not understand anything you just said," grumbled Stellaluna watching the cleaning robot with a wary and suspicious-filled eye.

Adam turned on his heel and followed the catboy. "Enta, you have the best timing!" he smiled.
"She wants you to toss in in the air and catch it...eat up." Leaving them to it, he rinsed his hand and headed out of the kitchen, absently wiping a damp palm on his hip. "Huh...h'lo, everyone." he grinned easily.

"Oh, ha ha," Max stuck her tongue out at Remy, nodding in satisfaction at what she had laid out and beginning to actually assemble it on her person.
Orrin counted on his hands. "Six of us...not a bad table..."
Tyler watched Jim whir about...the thing about making an actual bot is that a person grew attached to it. He was doing his best to shake off that sentimental side that wanted to see him just a little more intelligent, to interact in a more human manner.
I've seen enough sci-fi movies to know better...
He was distracted from his thoughts by Stellaluna. "In short, having him talk works better for me, and Jean-Luc will terrify you. Before you ask, no, I didn't make that one."

"Machines have their place," mumured Stellaluna then engaged no further in conversation.
Kru watched Gren leave then looked back at Lili before snapping his nose up to cause the piece of meat to become airborn then snapped it out of the air and ate it, "yay!" The little girl prepare another piece and ran a little away and tossed it to Kru saying, "catch!"
Kru did so. He was feeling a little better in the child's presence, the food was probably helping with that as well.

"Now, Gren...I can at least cover a portion of the table," Orrin chuckled, finding his generosity admirable. Not a lot of people would be so genuine in their extravagance.
"...I see six," Tyler muttered to himself. Who were the other two?
"You're fine...gotten a lot better now that ya got that mirror!" Max laughed, patting him on the back before heading for the stairs.
