Violet wasn't sure if she should say the name...after all, she was thinking of the same magician who protected her, who helped protect Angeles.

"The blonde woman...the one with stars in her eyes," she said at last, almost a whisper. "She loves magic...more than anyone I've seen."

Azana chuckled, leaving behind an interesting conversation with Gren, and stopped at a young woman sharpening a rather intriguing sword. "This might not be the best place to do this...lots of traffic," she warned, sitting on the steps until the other moved.

"Sorry, didn't notice." Adra said simply before standing and running her finger across the honed edge. "Perfect..." She decided, good enough to remove a demon's head like cutting butter with a heated knife. Probably because she'd spent most of the day simply sharpening the edge until it was flawless, she couldn't see the results of her hard work though, she could only admire its feel.

Adra thought about it for a second. "It's kind of a long story, and I doubt it'd be interesting to you." Adra said, putting the blade in to its sheathe which she placed on her back for easy reach, it was a two handed blade after all so she couldn't carry it on her waist. "To shorten my tale...I obtained it after finishing my slayer training, and awakened it after slaying my first demon." If she remembered correctly the blade was once just appeared to be a regular steel sword, but after shedding demonic blood the sword became the holy blade it was now.

Sorry, Gren...business before pleasure, she sent his way, the words "slaying" and "demon" tipping her off. This was indeed who she was supposed to meet.

"That'd make you Adra, then," Azana said with a nod. "Azana Jacobs...I believe you've heard of me."

Violet flipped into her sketchbook, holding up a picture of Stella for Stellaluna. Of course, it was a bit stylized, but it was her. "Her...I don't see her here often, though..."

'Not a problem, Az...fill me in as needs be, all right?'

Charlotte hummed, watching, gently scratching Fee.

Adra nodded. "Well, it's just with one demon, and I was told you would find some way to help me...not kill him." Adra had made it her mission to protect Penance now, and expel whatever evil was controlling him, hopefully without his death, she wouldn't allow that to happen. "Sadly I don't know much about the demon that has taken hold of my...friend, which is why I needed to look for help."

"I see," Azana hummed in thought. "I'll need to check out a few demonology texts from my cousin's library, then...or get some expert opinion on this specialty. I think I can help you, though, as far as the execution of it. The plan, I mean...not your friend."

"...that's why I didn't want to say," Violet frowned. "You're mad at her...for helping the vampire lady." It didn't take anything special to figure that out...but she worried about if he discovered her own hand in the seal.

Stellaluna glanced over at the child, his eyes said, no, really? He did not put a voice to it though. If his one hope to save what little remained of his pride was that woman, then there was no hope at all, "and who are you child?"

His entire countenance changed suddenly, not his demeanor, he was still irritated and unhappy, but now he smiled, turned to face the child in his chair and rested his cheek against his knuckles. A mild curiosity glistened in his eyes, his intent though was hidden to all, save possibly the dragon, the telepath and the empath. Or anyone who realized or recalled that he was a vampire.
