Angeles smirked and set down her drink as she took off her hat and bowed her head in response to Shadow's greeting, she then put her hat back on and took her glass up, "judging by the hesitation Zulma calls you her father simply on the basis that you raised her."
Angeles did not help herself to any cookies, she would not be able to taste them anyway.

"Hello Gren!" called Zulma, as she helped herself to the cookies, she took two with a hungry face.
"They look delicious. Thank you Knightsoul." Zulma noticed through the half open kitchen door that he had cleaned up everything. She bite into a cookie. "I am impressed. They are truly delicious and you cleaned up! Thank you so much." she smiled at him.

"Indeed i am the one her raised her and taught her fighting skills with the sword and a little with the enchantments that are channeled threw them. And you Angele i would like to know when you met my little Zulma." Shadows eyes glowed a little brighter as he said this then he smiled softly.

Kageko continued to think on the bed. She knew for sure that the only ones awake were Knight, Angeles, Zulma, Gren, and a stranger. Probably a werewolf from his aura. Zefi was still asleep, and Kageko couldn't leave until Zefi woke up.
"So," she pondered, "the only way out is if I can make it up to Angeles." She buried her head in the pillow in frustration and thought, "But what will be a fair price for the locket!"

"I aim to please, my dear." He ran back into the kitchen and came back carrying two large pitchers of ice cold milk. "Can't have cookies without milk." He set them down next to the cookies and poured himself a glass before grabbing a gingerbread man. He made a mental note to make a gingerbread house tomorrow as he bit into the cookie.

"During the war," said Angeles simply, "between S.I.N. and B.O.O. I had come into this in to rest during the day, I've been here ever since," she smiled at shadow, forcing herself not to react to his eyes glowing. Among vampires that would have been a threatening gesture, she was not sure if it was the same for his kind, whatever his kind may have been.
"I thank you for having raised her so well. If you hadn't I probably wouldn't have met her, or found this sanctuary."

Erik was awake sometime later. The blood was completly gone from him. But now, he had to use his shadow to help him walk. He was in the main room again. He sat at a nearby table and his shadow dispersed. Erik yawned. He hoped this imparment didn't put a damper on his training. "I miss anything interesting?" He asked curiously.

He looked at Erik with a smile and said "Yeah. Cookies", as if it were the most obvious thing in the world. He helped himself to another and settled at his usual table.

"Yes i am very proud of her myself and give me one second this form takes to much energy to maintain." As Shadow said the words the room began to go pitch dark such darkness that not even vampires or wolfs eyes could penetrate he was neither he was something that came before both the werewolfs and the vampires. the darkness began to condence into a single form that of a humanoid beast then the lights returned and there stood a giant humonoid wolf with glowing tattoos and eyes that were glowing a red that seemed to hold the flames of hell itself within them.
"Ahh that is so much better." Shadow said with a voice that was growling and echoed into infinit darkness.

Zulma nimbled on her cookies and handed glasses for everyone to have milk. "You thought about everything." she said to Knightsoul.
"Thank you." she told him as she got her own glass of milk. "Delichious." she said with a full mouth.
She smiled at the compliment made by Angeles and refrain from jumping at her neck. Then at the one making by Shadow and him turning back. She smiled at the wolf, he was back.
She just slightly blushed and the blush came a little pinker when Gren, looked for something in his pocket. "What?" she asked confused.
Erik's appearance worried her. He should be resting downstairs. "Knightsoul, could you please give some milk and cookies to Erik. I am sure he'd enjoy some." To Erik she smiled. "You are right on time."

Angeles glared at Erik as he came up but soon the human vanished from view as darkness overcame everything. She remained blind until the darkness seemed to draw into a single form that was, apparently shadow's true form. At first he appeared to be a werewolf, but Angeles' senses told her differently. She returned to glaring at Erik.
