"I suppose someone should've warned you about that," Tyler said to Adam, sipping some hot cider. "Then again, I thought it had calmed down. You see, Felix went through hell, and I really mean that, to find his brother again, and he's afraid of anyone taking him away again." He glanced in the direction of that back room where Felix made his home.
"Considering all that happened, I don't entirely blame him."
Terry watched, grimacing as it wound down. "You know...maybe that wasn't such a good idea, after all."
"Do not blame yourself, Terry," Kristen reached up to pat his shoulder. "Felix is a good man at heart...he simply clings a little too tightly to the objects of his love. To trust others with them is a lesson he must learn once more."

"Well, it's really the first time I've ever seen him do anything dangerous...and, well, after what happened in the summer, I can't say that I blame him for being so strong-armed about it." he sighed.
"It had, but, well...yeah. Summer. He loves very hard." nodded Charlotte. "Only the best of intentions."
"Then I can't be mad, now can I? He's just being a nice older brother." said Adam, settling on optimism. "And he really means it. But don't take down the mistletoe; now that he knows, I don't think it'll be a problem, right?"

Gareus appeared suddenly in midstride, as if he'd been ambling normally. He appeared to have emerged out of a wall, but there was no sign of his touch or blemish on any inch. He had no parcels today, only his hands in his pockets and a whistle in his lips. He looked about, smirking.
"Ah, this place. Cool beans."

Gareus blinked, taken aback by the smile. Was everyone this grinny around here? Not that he didn't mind, but... He took the hand, giving it a firm shake and attempting a grin.

He lifted one foot, showing the sole and rapping a knuckle against it.

He turned around, letting his leg fold while he stood to reveal the heel. Assorted runes played over a few metal grooves, twisting in an ornate yet carefully hidden area.
"Seven league boots."

"Haha, no sir. I'm something of a single entrepeneur in my business."
He took a seat, taking off his cap and shaking the dust out of it. His orange-brown hair was sleeked, though not with the sheen of gel, lifting its ends out in the back. His sideburns stretched over a majority of his cheeks, making him look somewhat monkey-like.
"Goodness knows I wouldn't want to many people doin' what I do. Could get hairy fer sure."
