Violet walked downstairs, eyes narrow with a frown as she walked into the kitchen for a drink.
Orrin was momentarily distracted from the adorable goddess by Violet's disruption, but she didn't seem to want much in the way of his meddling. "I've always loved children best...so much potential."

"Varies a lot from family to family," Tyler answered Adam, highlighter in hand and an inspired look in his eye. "Some are fantastic, others abysmal...but most of them are just alright."
Violet sighed, sinking into a recliner looking rather dejected. This was a very rare occurrence...but she had complete and utter blockage to her creativity.
Sorry for the intrusion, but amen to that, Sosol smiled, inwardly breathing a sigh of relief. Kids were nice, but there was no way he was made to be a babysitter.
"I suppose that's something we share," Orrin grinned. "A love of potential. Just seeing what will happen."

"Well, I'll admit, there were a bunch of other samples made with me initially, but none of the rest made it...do those count?"
"Depends on your definitions. Do you want them to count?"
"Ah...that's a hard one. I'll mull on it."
"Don't worry too much." chuckled Gren, nodding slightly both to Adam and Sosol's mental note. "Something wrong, Violet?"
Charlotte nodded. "Seeing stuff unfold is what makes stories great and surprises the best things ever!"

"Well, she was abandoned as a child. I decided to watch her, at least until she grew up and was strong enough to fend for herself..." He smiled a little, and hugged his daughter close. "...Well, we couldn't let her go."

She then dug into her bag, soon producing a rather adorable little apron. "Here!"
