Combat Arena

[Sigilos]

Still using his martial arts, he slipped to the side as one of the pillars passed him, and grabbed the other as it came close, swinging it around to point in the other direction. He dropped the large hunk of rock to the floor, then stood watching the green dragon for a moment.

*I'm sorry, was that an attack? I have to say, for an earth attack, that was rather pathetic. Can't you be a little more inventive?*

He assumed a Horse stance, bringing his fists into chamber, then stomped one leg into the ground. A large chunk of rock rose up out of the sand, the dust sliding off of it. With a powerful punch, Sigilos sent the stone hurtling toward the green dragon.

*How do you like a real challenge! Fight me properly, my next attack will be made to finish this foolishness!*  

[ITADAKIMASU NOM NOM]

Zik tried to dodge the rock, but was still regaining energy. It hit his ribs and pinned his tail to the side of the arena. He couldn't move it, but there always was his backup plan...

He whispered a few words. Ankaara's tail started to dissolve. She stared at it with disbelief, and glared at Zik, pure rage in her eyes. ((You!! You stupid little alien! I ought to hand you gift-wrapped to the bologna-brained meat child, who'll hand you over to the Earth scientists! You are SO-)) She was cut off as the rest of her dissolved. The black mist swirled around Zik, and patches of black appeared on his scales. One of his eyes turned blank white. ((Sorry Sigilos, that he couldn't put up a better fight! He doesn't have any sense in that scaly noggin of his!)) Zik smiled, half of his mouth having extremely long, sharp teeth, while the other had short, sharp ones, and so on. A large golden sword materialized in his paw. He waved it, and in a puff of flame, the Fire Clan dragons, with their angry masks, came. They all flew up, above the Arena, and chanted a spell. They flew in a circle, forming a large ball of fire. It plummeted down towards Sigilos with alarming speed.  

[Sigilos]

If it wasn't for his reflexes, the gold would probably have been roasted. Even as quickly as he moved, his tail tip was still a little warm to him. It glowed red, hot enough to melt metal now. the fire ball had come at him so fast, he had rolled to one side to try and avoid it. He was naturally resistant to fire, to a point. This was hot enough to leave the sand on the arena floor a plate of glass. A grin spread across his face.

*Much better, achuak! Or perhaps I should call you nou'ara now? At least I don't have to worry about this finishing too soon!*

He gathered some of his chi into his palms, concentrating on wind and fire as he did so. He gave his fingers a snap, and mini whirling typhoons of fire howled around his hands. They where just big enough to cover his paws. The fire was immensely hot though. It would be almost equal to the flame that barely caught him. He resumed a fighting stance, taking a dragon-style defensive posture.

*Enough talk, now we fight!*  

[ITADAKIMASU NOM NOM]

Zik-Ank smiled, and whispered a spell. Small, glowing orbs shot out of its palms, and encircled Sigilos, humming. They did nothing to cool the flames, nor to hurt him, but instead disappeared as soon as they had came. Zik-Ank laughed evilly, and said "Yesss, let usss fight now. It smiled, knowing that those little orbs would come in handy at a later time...  

[ShaydraSilversky]

Shaydra had disappeared from her perch on the ledge. In the corner of the arena stands something shuddered convulsively, and a snarl emenated from between two ledges. A large, dark brown, adolescent she-wolf with a furry spiked-up mane and lynx-shaped ears crouched, trying to hide in a nonexistent shadow and she blinked up at the moon with silver eyes.
*Arrgh,* Shaydra thought as she shook her fur. *I didn't keep count of the days, forgot that there'd be a full moon today...ah well...* The young she-wolf's fur flattened as she rose on two legs, perfectly balanced, to watch the progressing fight below.  

[ITADAKIMASU NOM NOM]

"What are you waiting for? Make your move!", Zik-Ank shouted, impatient.  

[Sigilos]

*As you wish, nou'ara.*

The gold burst into action, whirling once again across the arena, his red-hot tail lashing out along with one fiery palm toward the waiting dragon.  

[ITADAKIMASU NOM NOM]

Zik-Ank flitted into the air, avoiding major impact, but was hit in the foot with the tail. It winced, but quickly getting over the initial shock of the pain, Zik-Ank whispered something in an alien language, and a little robot came out of nowhere. It was whitish and kind of small. "GIR!" The robot snapped to attention. "Attack!" It nodded, and ran towards Sigilos. its serious expression quickly turned into a look of sheer stupidity. "ICE CREAM!", it shouted, waving its hands around in the air. The top of its head opened, and a torrent of mint chocolate chip ice cream cones flew out, cooling Sigilos' molten tail. "That's not what I wanted to do...GIR! Why can't you just STAY in Duty Mode for more than a few seconds?!?", Zik-Ank said, annoyed. The robot giggled. "What?" "Eheheheh...'Doodie'..." Zik-Ank hit itself in the face, and shook its head from side to side.  

[Sigilos]

A fist smashed through the head of the robot, sparks flitting into the air from the hole. Sigilos lowered his arm, the robot dangling like a grotesque puppet from his clenched fist.

*I am done with your antics. Now this ends.*

His voice was soft, almost a whisper. At the same time, the fire around him faded. With a twitch of his scaled wrist, the broken metal body was tossed away. Sigilos stood in one place, not moving. Dark clouds began to gather, covering the sun and flooding the arena in darkness. Thunder rumbled in anger, and flashes of light broke from the belly of the clouds, only to be swallowed again by the shadows. A nimbus of power began to build around the golden scales, the entire body of the dragon coated in an eerie purple-black light. Golden leather wings unfolded from his back, spreading wide, bolts of raw energy crackling along the mighty pinions. Where the bolts grounded themselves in the arena floor, dark green glass spread into small forms, looking like frozen lightning bolts. The golden scales began to change color, blood flooding them and coving the shining gold in his anger. Black flooded across the powerful body, in the half-light it seemed he was being swallowed by shadows. When he opened his eyes, they where darker then the rest of his body, seeming to suck in light from around him. A shockwave pulsed from Sigilos, blasting back anything thing that wasn't bolted down.

One arm raised, and a sharp bark echoed around the arena. The twisting words of an ancient, forgotten language tortured the darkness around the dragon, dragging it into a new form, bending to his will. It became a long katana, as black as everything else. In a moment, Sigilos was gone, seeming to float from place to place around the arena. As he gained speed, it began to look as if hundreds of him where speeding around in circles around Zik-Ank.

*What's the matter, can't keep up?*

"this is going too slow" Neoxis muttered to himself in the seats of the arena, then louder he said "im sorry, but for my own satisfaction i must disobey the rules of the arena!"
He jumped towards Zik-Ank and roundhouse kicked her almost out of the arena. Turning to sigilos with a small bow he said "i wish to fight you now..." Neoxis backed up into a fighting stance and waited for a reply  

[ITADAKIMASU NOM NOM]

Zik-Ank growled, and said: "Have SOME patience! Is that TOO MUCH TO ASK!?!? How DARE you hurt ME when we AREN'T fighting! GRAAAH!" Zik-Ank's hand glowed brown for a second, and it grabbed the stone floor of the arena, lifted it up, and shook it like you would shake out your rug at home. Neoxis catapulted back into the crowd, and when he landed, thick vines kept him in his place. "Those will bind you 'till we are over here. Those vines will prevent you from meddling any further...Now, Sigilos, I do think our final moves are due? You may go first." A curling smile crept across its face as it bowed.

The wolf's hackles rose. She did not like the disturbing darkness emenating from the golden dragon. *Too many interruptions,* she growled, trying to shake off the feelings. *But Neoxis has a point. This fight is dragging on.*
Her muscles tensed, as if trying to break the stone stands. Gradually, all the people occupying the arena became aware of an uncomfortable burning, as if the moonlight was on fire. The vines holding Neoxis lit in white flames, then snapped apart. *Hopefully the white dragon doesn't do anything foolish.* A cold breeze rushed through the arena, cooling the fiery moonlight.  

[ITADAKIMASU NOM NOM]

Zik-Ank glared at the wolf, a savage light in its eyes.
"Meddling, interfering wolf! How dare you set him free! As payment, I shall disregard my ever-so kind offer to let Sigilos go first, and attack! It snarled, and growled in an unintelligible language. Strange, blocky runes hung in the air, glowing in all colors ever imaginable. They multiplied quickly, and soon, the whole arena was full of them, whizzing through the air. Zik-Ank roared, and they all clustered in seperate groups, the individual clouds whirling around at dizzying speed. Zik-Ank's lips curled in a cruel smirk, showing razor-like, gleaming teeth. "I might be an alien, but you have no idea of the powers of my race when mixed with dragon magic!" The rune vortexes stopped swirling, and they had taken the forms of about one hundred dragons. "Now, witness my power!!"All the rune dragons dissolved, and flew to Zik-Ank, who was now in particles as well. The dragon-granules whirled around, and a VERY BIG dust storm formed, but as soon as it had done that, it came crashing down to the arena floor.
It started to whirl in a dusty ball, tighter and tighter, until a massive blue shockwave ran over the arena. When the smoke cleared, a GIANT Zik-Ank loomed over the arena. It was fifty times its original size and thoroughly armored. It snarled, and growled in a grumbly, earth-shaking voice: "Come on...Come on...Come on...Come on, you wanna piece of this?"  

[Sigilos]

Sigilos hadn't stopped moving the entire time, running from place to place quickly enough to look as if there where hundreds of him. Now, he stopped and stood across the arena from the giant dragon. He looked at it a moment, then spoke. His voice was soft, but it carried to everyone as if he had yelled.

*You may be large, but size is nothing. You and your kind never did learn that, did you? Very well, if you wish to continue your folly, then please, do. As for me, this ends now.*

He took a fighting stance, his sword outstretched, then began to glow again. A blue nimbus of light grew from him, swirling sand away in dancing whirlwinds. He gave an eerie yell, the sound focusing his power into the blade.

*Cayosin!*

The aura flowing around him focused into the blade of his sword in an instant, then released as he swung it. A large wave of blue and red energy poured from the sword as it sliced the air, speeding toward the giant and growing in size as it moved.  

[ITADAKIMASU NOM NOM]

((Whoops, I forgot to roll the dice))
