Remy laughed in delight, charging out after.

"The tiiiiniest bit of peppermint." she smiled. "Just a hint. Good palate on you!"

"But I really didn't put much in there." she smiled. "Just a little!"

Adam hummed, peering over the sofa's edge. "Why so blue?"

As if the fates could read Tyler's mind, the door suddenly opened and Stacy Masters waltzed in. Her eyes scanned the room, searching for her teammates, and fell upon Tyler. She hesitated at the door, uncertain of herself for the first time in ages.

Chris was upstairs in his room, straightening the bow tie on his tux (a task he had been performing all day) as he nervously paced the floor. Nate stood nearby, munching on a bag of pretzels, and watching his best friend with an amused grin.

Jake and Morgan arrived, brushing past Stacy and taking seats at the bar. Jake wouldn't miss this for the world (mostly because Morgan would kill him if she didn't get to see it herself).

She smiled and relaxed a little as she walked over to him. "I missed you, too," she replied as she kissed him on the cheek. "How have you been?" She wanted to say more, but she didn't know if she should. Their breakup had been difficult for both of them and, while she hated the way things had ended, she wasn't entirely sure it was the wrong thing to do.

So, the fearless leader is finally facing his fears. Never thought I'd see the day" Jake said as he reached behind the bar to get a drink. Morgan just sat silent, wondering when Jake would finally pop the question. They had been together for some time, and she loved him like crazy. She wondered if maybe Chris had something to do with the delay.

Chris had gotten so nervous that he had taken his tie off, reconsidered, and promptly forgotten how to tie it.

"I've been okay..." She paused a moment and her expression changed from nervous to fierce anger. "No, that's a lie. How do you think I've been? I've been in hell and the only thing that made it bearable was burying myself in my work. And now it's Valentine's Day and Chris is going to propose and you're here and I keep thinking about Paris and I don't know if I should kiss you or shoot you."

Chris had somehow managed to get his hands tied up in his tie. Nate was too overcome with laughter to help out.

Crystal walked in, wearing an elegant gown. She saw Stacy and Tyler talking and felt a brief moment of joy. She had been hoping for months that they would reconcile.

She considered for a moment before deciding that it couldn't hurt to let him have his say. "Okay, but if I don't like what I hear, I have my service revolver on me. It won't be lethal, but it won't be pleasant."

Chris had finally gotten his tie sorted out, but had somehow lost a shoe in the process. "Nate, go check to see if the gang is here. If they are, tell them it will probably be a few more minutes." He checked his watch, only to find his shoe on his hand and his watch was now missing. "And get me a stiff drink while you're at it."

Stacy said nothing for a few moments. Finally, she reached out her hand and slapped him. "You idiot! First off, Cameron Trent was only a friend. We never dated or anything and I mostly only saw him when my police duties demanded it. As for your past, I'm a PI. I left the force for a number of reasons, including the fact that not being a cop allows me to associate with whomever I want. If I cared about your past having a negative impact on my career, I wouldn't have gone to Paris with you."

Her expression softened a bit and she leaned in closer. Chris and Crystal are about to pledge themselves to each other for better or worse. Think about those words, Tyler. Better or worse. That means if you love someone, you stick with them no matter what, she told him telepathically. I once told you that I loved you and you said the same thing to me. If you really meant that, then the next move is yours.

Chris finally found his watch and exited his room, eager and frightened at the same time. He headed for the stairs and prepared to ask the woman he loved if she would spend the rest of her life with him.

Stacy returned the kiss, happy to be back where she belonged. After several passionate moments, she finally broke the kiss to catch her breath. Smiling, she said to Tyler "This doesn't mean you're off the hook, mister. You've got a lot to make up for."

Crystal smiled to herself and was glad to see them together again.

Chris entered the room and saw Stacy and Tyler kissing. He was slightly confused as he thought that they had broken up, but ignored it. Looking around the room, he spotted his lady love and began to approach her.

Nate emerged from the kitchen with a tray carrying the couple's romantic dinner when he noticed something off about his friend. Setting the tray down quickly, he grabbed Chris by the arm and steered him towards the stairs. He quickly chattered something in the man's ear, causing Chris to look down and realize a horrifying fact.

He had forgotten his pants.
