"Time was of the essence...the Horseman of War was launching an assault on his mind, and I had to shoo her out." she sighed, voice in the tone one uses in regard to an unfortunate brat of a child. "A long story, and it involves my present there...sweet and sad and amazing all at once."
He grinned a little, sneaky. "Hang on." With that, he left the room in a trot, romping downstairs and grabbing the gift and card, stopping by his room for his own, and popped back in. "There! Now we can do this proper!" he beamed, handing Enta a card and a pretty pink carnation.

Adam opened his card carefully, letting the present wait. He smiled affectionately as he read it, cheeks pinkening a touch.
"Long-er story, but it wasn't that she didn't like him...she wanted him back under her thumb." she said, leaning on the couch to catch her breath. "Phew...yeah, anyway, she's not a problem."

It read simply, 'For the sweetest sweetie I know'. Entabpivked up the gold wrapped gift box and held it out to Adam. "Here. I really hope it fits."

Enta nodded. Inside the paper was a garment box, decorated with an ornate gold 'O' on the top. Inside was a tailored suit of extremely soft cotton. The jacket and and slacks were a lovely royal blue, the tie was a lighter powder blue and the shirt was cream. On the bottom was a set of gold cufflinks shaped like apples and a shiny pair of expensive-looking leather shoes.

Adam's jaw dropped as he looked over the clothes, amazement growing as he pulled out each section. "I-I..!" he stammered, looking over the cufflinks. "Oh my goodness...t-thank you! Enta, this is incredible! M-may I try it on?"
