"Happy Valentine's Day, Enta..." he smiled, petting his head gently. "I'll be back to check on you in an hour." He smiled sweetly, gathering his gift and card, leaving the boy to rest. **** A few days later, Charlotte and Gren sat serenely in the main room, quietly discussing their holidays and giggling. The main door swung open, Adam's voice and another's engaged excitedly in talk.
"And then, there was this huuuuuge explosion!"
"No way! That really happened?""Yeah!"Gren looked up. "Who've you got there, Adam?"Adam beamed, stepping in and making way. "I made a new friend on my way back from the store...say hello to Malachai!""How do you do?" smiled Malachai, teeth razor sharp in a broad grin against dark tan skin, eyes slitted and deep red, shiny black horns peering through his white hair, tips blaze red. He wore a Romani suit, black wings tucked at the back, and a long spaded tail swaying merrily behind. There was absolutely no doubt about it: he was 100% demon. Gren's face slowly dropped to a frown. "...Right."

Sosol blinked, hearing the new voice and heading out of the kitchen. "Oh, we have a new--" He stopped, looking to Adam's friend and back to Gren. "Erm...Malachai, was it?" He asked, keeping up his cordial demeanor as he tried to concentrate for a scan.
Please, for the love of God, don't let Az come home now!
Tyler peeked up from a rather elaborate blueprint, quirking an eyebrow at the well-dressed demon. Well, this should be interesting.

Malachai's mind was not a very busy place. Currently, it seemed interested in the triage of smelling who was tasty, though the undertone of hunger was missing.
"Yes, that's right!" he smiled brightly. "Who are you?"
"...Gren."
"Ooh! That's a nice name." His tail swayed happily. "You can call me Mal! And you?" he said, asking Sosol.

"Sol," the bartender answered, concerned gaze hiding behind dark sunglasses. He blinked for a moment or two, growing calm in the light of no immediate threat. "Care for a drink?"

"Oh? Oh, yes!" he nodded, sitting down eagerly, looking at all of the pretty bottles. "Oooh. What's good?"
Adam sat beside him, smiling. "I like the carrot juice...for you? Try hot cocoa!"
He looked excited, nodding. "Cocoa! Yeah! I want to try that!" he said to Sol eagerly. "Cocoa, please! Cocoa cocoa!"
Gren sighed, looking incredulous. 'Maybe he's not a demon after all..?' He glanced to Charlotte, who looked absolutely livid. '...I stand corrected.'
