Nate emerged from the kitchen slightly singed and holding his latest attempt at flambe. His skills were improving, at least. He had only set himself on fire twice this time. He looked around the room, hoping to find some brave volunteers.

"Hot cocoa it is," he nodded, heading back toward the Drinkamajig. Gren...he poses no immediate threat. He's not hungry...and, well, I'm not sure if this is a ruse or not, but his mind is rather beautifully empty.
Orrin stretched, looking toward the downstairs. "Not to be cliche, but I sense a disturbance," he muttered, pulling on his coat and strolling the halls.
Tyler chuckled. "You have excellent taste," he said, voice sarcastic as a slight test of the demon's intellect.

'Good to know, but you may want to tell Charlotte...she looks ready to jump him.'
"I do?" he asked, looking to Tyler. "I've never had it before, but I heard it was tasty, and it really looked like a popular food."
"It is." assured Adam. "It's really sweet, and warm."
"Oh, neat...it seemed like a rare treat...I've only ever had soulfruits, when it's not souls and such."
Adam grinned. "He's from Hell!"
"Yup!"

Nate heard a discussion involving food-his favorite topic. He took it upon himself to treat the gathered group to his latest culinary experiment. Setting the platter down on the table, he happily squawked at them to try some.

Tyler nodded, entirely amused. Adam's found his evil, soul-eating twin...this is brilliant!
"Never had cocoa, huh...man, they really don't serve breakfast in Hell, do they?"
Orrin arrived downstairs, blinking in surprise at Charlotte's angry expression. He followed her gaze to the source of it and felt the hair on the back of his neck rise. He could certainly understand the reason for her anger at that point. This was a delicate, and tricky, situation, as far as keeping the balance.

Stacy walked in from work and was instantly hit by a suspicious feeling. Looking around the room, she noticed a new face. Although a few of the other residents were having a nice chat with him, there was something just a little unsettling about him. She looked around at her friends and noticed Charlotte's expression of anger and Gren's watchful gaze. Good to know it's not just me.
She decided to play it cool for the moment and act natural. Walking up behind Tyler, she casually covered his eyes and said "Guess who, handsome."
Chris came downstairs tinkering with a new invention and, without bothering to notice who was in the room, strolled over to the bar. "The usual, Sol. I need some thinking juice."

Mal shook his head. "Nope. I had to work for my food, every bit." he said, nibbling the flambe.
"...What exactly did you do?"
"I'm an incubus!" announced the demon proudly. "One of their best!"
"And I suppose you're looking for food, huh?" growled Charlotte, brimming with distrust.
"Ah, nope. Not just now."
"You'd better not ever let me catch you hunting around here." she shot back, all business.
Mal tucked his tail, shrinking. "Okay..."

Tyler was distracted from his amusing game by a pair of hands clapped over his eyes and a voice he could never mistake. "Why, this would have to be the most amazing woman I've had the pleasure of dating," he answered slyly.
Orrin was somewhat taken aback at Charlotte's sudden authority, as well as the incubus' complete subservience to her. Then again, eaters of souls did have a way of sensing when they were outmatched.
"This place is a registered Neutral Site. No one is anyone's food in here unless they freely and willfully volunteer," he explained more calmly than his chaotic girlfriend.
"One hot cocoa, and one brain juice," Sosol chuckled, the two drinks finding their way to their recipients.

Chris had pulled a small screwdriver out of his pocket and was making adjustments "A tweak here, a weld there and I'll have this thing working in no time."

"A wha?" he asked, looking fairly unnerved by Orrin as well. "What's a Neutral Site? I wasn't gonna eat anyone, I swear! I had a big meal a couple of days ago!"
Adam pouted, looking to Charlotte. "There's no need to yell at him, Charlotte...he said he wasn't going hungry."
She huffed. "Anything that eats souls isn't something I can trust, Adam."
"B-but begging your pardon, but yours is really old and strong, and I don't like that flavor..."
"..." She wasn't sure whether to be relieved or insulted; she settled on annoyed. "...Drink your cocoa."
He did, looking rather like a kicked dog. "...It's really yummy."

Orrin had to concede that point to Charlotte...eating souls was frowned upon in most systems. "A Neutral Site means that everyone agrees not to hurt each other, so long as they're within its boundaries. So, as long as you don't start any trouble, people shouldn't do the same with you." It was like explaining karma to a child, it seemed...but luckily, Orrin had patience to spare for the seemingly harmless incubus.
Tyler smirked as he looked up to her. "And I for feisty blondes," he retorted, looking back down to the blueprint. "I've been improving an old trap design of mine; I haven't looked over it in years, and I'm starting to see some flaws."
Sosol had to admit, the demon seemed straight-forward enough, though he hadn't had much experience with reading them. "A couple of days-- Valentines..." That made sense...with that much love and lust in the air, he probably had a feast. The question was what to do with him once he became hungry again...they really couldn't bear the responsibility of having him out there hunting souls, could they?

"Ohh...So, I don't try anything with anyone in here, and they won't hurt me?" he asked, brightening up a little. "Really? No tail-pulling or stuff?"
Adam smiled, nodding. "Yeah!"
"Oh! I can do that! I won't step on toes or anything! It just looked cool while I was kind of lost!" smiled the demon. "Are there soulfruits here?"
"...Soulfruits?"
"They grow in Hell...soul substitute, basically." he said, looking around.
