"I wonder if they'd get along...probably not." she scratched her head. "Wolfy's got enough going on without a derpy demon."
Malachai made a face. "Green? Green beer? Gross...why? Beer's fine alone, it isn't supposed to be green! That's a lousy thing to do to good beer."

"Then, I suppose it's not a problem, is it?" he shrugged. "He's looking pretty all right by me, though I'll still have to actually talk to him for a while."
"Maybe he'll actually wear it?" she laughed.
"Are we supposed to go drinking? Is that all?" he asked, rubbing the back of his head. "These new holidays...well, I guess drinking is fun. Should I come too?"

"Well, it's easy to stir up mayhem with drunk folks," Terry said, nudging lightly. "Especially idiots who drink green beer. They won't even remember the mischief in the morning."
"It's not bullying if it's true," James shrugged.
"You mean her, don't you...?" Azana said flatly, obviously referring to a certain other essence-eating denizen of the Inn. In her own book, Angeles ran pretty high up on the list of barely-tolerable, too...mostly due to the fact that she seemed to get dragged into something every time.
Tyler walked downstairs, eyebrow quirked at the sight. "More ice cream...is this becoming a trend?"

"Yes, but I might decide that a few are too tasty to be left alone, and then I think the angel will fry me, even if I don't do it here." he pouted.
"Yeah, but you aren't supposed to point out someone's shortcomings. That's not cricket." she sighed. "I got a dose of conscience there. Weeeeird."
"I mean anyone who walks in here and cops an attitude, as if they're owed something." he corrected. "I don't like anyone who does that. For a demon, he's acting pretty humble, so I have to admit that I'm not put off."
He glanced to Tyler. "It is...the Drinkamajig's producing ice cream as well, and we're all trying our personal flavours."

"Whaaaaaat?!" James dropped everything in a moment of disbelief. "Orrin dates?! I thought he was just some kooky old guy, like a really young-looking widower or something..."
"...you ever have Ethiopian food before?" Tyler asked. "I'm apparently one of those spicy beef dishes, like tibs or kitfo."

"I was thinking of Kristen, actually," Terry beamed. "She's not old enough to drink, but since she's psychic, she can keep tabs on you from outside the bar if they don't let her in!"
"I-I don't know!" James stammered. "My mind's still blown at the thought of Orrin having a girlfriend...nothing against you, of course!"
"It's your stomachache," Tyler shrugged, strolling back into the kitchen to face the new monstrosity of a drink machine. "...she's been busy."
