It's a Pokemon RP! We're still kind of in testing phase. ^^;

Jade laughed a little. Tristan had thought she would act surprised at the thought of a gay pokemon. "I come from Saffron city. I've seen stranger things." She laughed again. Her laughter was cut off by a soft growl in her stomach. Jade hadn't eaten since they first went on that bloody pirate ship...  

[Michiru Tendo]

Karen, who had moved closer and closer toward the edge of the couch in her sleep, jerked awake at Lyn's shouting, falling completely off the couch in the process. Cosette had woken to Lyn's screaming sooner and was also trying to help look around for the lost egg, otherwise she would have been crushed by the fallen redhead. Karen sat up, rubbing her head which now probably had a bump on it since she wound up hitting that first on the hard floor.

"Owowow... huh? Lyn? What is it, what's gone?" Karen stared at Lyn as she searched around for something. When the other girl started to cry Karen quickly got up and ran over to her friend. "Oh Lyn, what is it? Are you missing something important? I'm sure you'll find it, it's okay... Maybe I can help look for it too?"

The strange kidnappers still looked distracted by the apparently disgusting thought of getting a first Pokemon, so Liam decided to take this opportunity to sneak over to Teddy's corner. He put his hand on the shoulder of the crying boy and spoke to him in a quiet whisper. "Don't worry, Teddy, you'll get your starter and we're both gonna get out of here. I'm going to try to distract those weird guys and when it looks like none of them are looking I want you to dash out of here. I'll follow you soon after, and then we can go get some help for the Professor. Sound good to you?"  

[Semu Namu]

Sena had been sleeping on her couch in the center for quite a few hours now, Lyn's commotion disrupted her wonderful sleeping only a bit. She rolled over and snuggled into her pillow before falling deeply into sleep again. Arcanine watched Sena, she always slept like she'd never wake up. He saw the longhaired girl slip out of the center and considered going after her, but thought better of it and went over to Lyn to ask Growlithe what was wrong with her.  

[SephiLyn]

Mr. Worm was patting Lyn on her head as best he could without arms. Lyn looked up at Karen, tears in her eyes, "It's my egg...the one my sister gave to me...it's lost! I can't find it." Meanwhile, Tiger had just said the same thing to Sena's Arcanine only without crying. He also added that there wasn't anything he had with the egg's scent on it so it would wise to sniff for Lyn's scent since she held it before the egg-napping.-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"No Liam, the crying was a distraction." Teddy explained, quite in control of himself and no longer crying, "I have the starter pokemon briefcase, I just need a chance to open it with out them watching." He turned to look at the three pokemon thieves. They were watching him still as was the Smeargle. Teddy pretended to turn back and sob but he really looked at Liam and whispered, "The starters aren't very strong, I doubt they can stand up to their pokemon for long so we'll both have to get out of here quick."

Karen took one of Lyn's hands in her own and patted it gently, giving her a bright smile. "It's alright, Lyn, we can find it. Did you have it when you came into the center? Or did you drop it in here? Or maybe Tiger can look for it! He has a good nose! And Cosette too! See? We can find it for sure!"

Liam was a bit shocked. He knew his brother was smart, but not smart enough to think of a scheme to get out of a scary situation. He nodded and did his own little bit of acting, patting the "crying" Teddy on the shoulder and trying to block the weird kidnapper's view of the case with his body at the same time. "Want me to go over there and distract them or will it be enough to have me stand here and block them from seeing the case?"

Aj was looked back at the pokemon lab. "Stupid lady. not leting me get my first pokemon..." He sait down with his legs and arms crossed. Aj staired angerly at the lab. "This isnt fair..." he said childishly

Tristan blinked. He was shocked. First, he'd never heard Jade laugh, and secondly, he'd never see anything stranger than a blue Nidoran male that had feelings for other males but of course, he'd never lived in Saffron City. He heard Jade's stomach growl and turned back toward Petalburg, "Are you hungry? I hear they've got a great Cinnabar Cinnabun in Petalburg."

Lyn regained control of herself. "I'm sure I had it with me in here. I fell asleep holding it to me. When I woke up it was...gone!" Tiger came up to Lyn, nudged her hand, licked it, and then jumped into her lap. He might not absolutely love his owner, but her crying hurt his sensitive ears. Phantom, still busy searching for food, trotted back to Lyn, sniffed her for food, and then left to search for more food. "Little Phantom...I just caught her and she's already helping me!" Lyn said, a little more joy in her voice.

Teddy nodded as he quietly unclasped the briefcase and slid his hand inside. Since the pokeballs were in their smaller form, he took out four in one hand. He gave two to Liam, one marked with a fire symbol and the other with a grass, and kept two for himself to use, one marked grass and the other water. He closed the briefcase back up, since the maximum amount of pokemon a trainer should use in a battle at one time it two. "If these ones faint, I'll get out the others. We've got to move quickly though, once the guy downstairs hears us he'll probably come after us too." Teddy whispered to Liam.

Jade ignored the shocked look on Tristan's face and nodded. "Yes I'm hung-did you say Cinnabar Cinnabun?" She asked. She seemed to be happy even though her face looked a bit neutral. Truth was, both Jade and Zev loved sweet things.  

[SephiLyn]

"Yes, Cinnabar Cinnabuns. They're kinda sticky but oh so delicious. Ever had one before?" Tristan asked, a little nervous because Jade wasn't being the Jade he met before. She seemed to by happy to go somewhere and eat with him.  

[x Tiryn]

"Yes, I've had them before." Jade nodded, still looking happy yet neutral. She wasn't aware on how she was acting....she just really wanted a Cinnabar Cinnabun. Neither Jade nor Zev had had one since they left Kanto. Jade could feel Zev growing restless on her head. He obviously wanted to get going.  

[SephiLyn]

Tristan wasn't sure what to do with this neutral happy Jade. Maybe if I feed her she'll go back to normal....Tristan thought to himself. He started to walked to Petalburg. "Well...it won't be that long of a walk. I hear the owners just moved in so it's sure to be good."  

[Michiru Tendo]

Karen beamed at Phantom as he trotted away. "See, Lyn? Even your new Phantom is trying to help. We'll find this egg in no time at all! I wonder if you dropped it in your sleep and it rolled away somewhere... could be outside... maybe someone picked it up and handed it to the nurse? We should go ask her if she's seen it!"

Liam nodded at Teddy's plan, smiling inwardly at his little brother's cleverness. "Alright, here we go. Once I unleash these two let's run for the door." Liam whirled around to face the weird people again, one Pokeball in each hand. He let out a dramatic battle cry as he unleashed both Pokemon from their small red and white homes. Blue light surrounded the two Pokemon for a few moments before finally clearing away, revealing a Charmander and a Chikorita. "You two, use whatever attacks you have and go at those people!" Liam ordered as he pointed to the kidnappers across the room with their Pokemon. The Chikorita charged at the strange people, the Charmander hesitating before following the grass type starter.

"Phantom's such a good girl!" Lyn sobbed a bit. She got up and wandered around to look for the nurse but there wasn't one. She had disappeared.

Teddy also spun around and released his pokemon. They landed on the ground and then burst open, revealing a Treeko and a Totodile. "Both of you, help the Charmander and the Chikorita! Cover our escape! If two of you attack the Smeargle and the other two protect the door to the basement, we can get out of here!" Teddy yelled. The two pokemon responded loyally, they liked trainers with battle plans.

Hearing the sound of Pokemon being brought out from there pokeballs AJ looked at the lab. He ran towards the door and heard Teddy yelling orders. "Escape?"Aj whispered to himself confused. he put his ear to the door to listen.  

[Its-a-Lyn]

Nurse Joy was tied up in the woods between Petalburg and Oldale. After being gagged, she had nothing better to do than sit and sleep. She had troubled dreams of a person who looked and sounded like her smacking her on the back of the head and dragging her off. Nurse Joy just hoped the Pokemon Center was alright with out her there.

The three Freedom Fighters were shocked, they couldn't figure out how those two got their hands on some pokemon. They raced toward the basement, only to be blocked by an angry Totodile who jumped onto the woman's face and began dancing frantically while the other two watched in horror. The Smeargle had its hands full trying to fight off the other two pokemon. It took it awhile but it finally got far enough away to Sketch the attacks of its opponents.

Hearing the noise upstairs, the Professor slumped over. Didn't I tell Teddy to be quiet? I hope so... And where did he get those pokemon? He didn't take my briefcase did he!? He thought before realizing that the other man downstairs had also heard the noise and was sending the other three pokemon up to help.
