Zulma smiled at the use of 'Miss', some of the guests were so formal, yet she was touched every time by their polite way of acknowledging her status as innkeeper.
"I have been doing just fine. Thank you."
She poured the water.
"I just came back from months of traveling and I have to admit that it feels good to be home."
She handed him the cup. "Sugar, lemon, milk?"

Cautiously, sniffing at the top of the stairwell, making sure that nobody was going to be upset by his unglamoured self. There was Zulma, and someone who smelled of cake. There was tea. He peeked around the corner hopefully.

Zulma added the ingredients then smiled at Mal. Some part of her were always reacting unconsciously when the demon was around and her smile turned a little more flirty.
"Do you also want something Mal?" she asked him.

There was some pounding above and Phoenix rushed down the stairs, on hand on the railing. She turned and waved at the people inside the kitchen before opening the door, "anyone seen Fee?" she asked without looking. Alejandro looked over the back of the couch where he had slept and narrowed his eyes at the blur of red and black that was being rudely loud.

"Oh, the Felix?" Phoenix turned around and looked around, waiving friendly, "because I made a deal with Fee about giving him a special sort of fish. My brother should be arriving soon with it and I figured he would want it as fresh as it can get."

Zulma nodded at Mal and prepared another cup of tea but as she reached for the cup she spotted the little chibi and chuckled.
"Phoenix I found him." she said quietly and pointed at the sleeping one with a gentle smile.
She cautiously took another cup, trying not to wake him up.

The demon blinked. "...Was I supposed to do that too? Is that a rule? Aw geez, nobody tells me anything..." he grumbled, sighing, rubbing his head.
Fee, rustled, stretched a bit before cudding his face into his tail.
