He put his hands over his cheeks, brushing fingers through cheek fuzz.
"I think I would look like the Beast from X-men if I dared dye myself blue... or rewrite my genes or whatnot. I'd be too scared that it wouldn't be reversable."

Advent laughed and then paused a moment, blue fur suddenly sprouted everywhere and his very physiology changed, looking like the Beast that Gareus had been speaking of, "like this?" he asked in Hank McCoy's voice.

Adam began to utter something as the pixie darted away, but fell quiet in his solitude. "Oh dear...poor little fellow..."
Sniffing lightly, Malachai trotted downstairs, satisfied that he liked everyone in the room, even Pomegranate. "Hello!"
"Hello, Mal!"
"Hi!"
"Hey, Adam! Do you have a marsh mallow? I heard they were sweet, but I've never heard of a mallow, 'specially not one from a marsh."
"Ha ha! No, no, they're not an animal. They're a sort of sugary treat."

Zulma had had weird dreams about the inn and a threat and she had awoken with a bitter taste in her mouth. After a shower, she felt better and as she trotted down the stairs to see Mal and Adam speaking together, she smiled.
"Good morning Gentlemen. Hi Charlotte!" she said with a smile. Then without warming, she gave a happy hug to Adam with a peck on the cheek. Mal received the same treatment and so did Charlotte.

Charlotte giggled and returned the gesture. Adam grinned and did the same with an affectionate hum. Malachai cuddled into his hug with a light rub of his horn, as was customary for him. "Hi!"
"Morning, Zulma. Need anything?"

"I do not believe we have any."
She shook vigorously at Charlotte.
"No no no! I think this calls for a trip to the grocery store!" It was a nice opportunity to get out of the Inn.
"Anyone wants to tag along?" she asked hopeful.
