"Hello, beautiful," Orrin replied in kind, hearing discussion of Malachai's talents, or lack thereof. "Is there a problem here...?"
"Turns out Mal here has no job skills," Azana chuckled. "We were trying to see if he could get his money by something other than charming people out of it."
"That's not necessarily true," Sosol muttered, gazing at him intently behind his sunglasses. "He's attractive, he can charm folks, probably pretty resistant to other's charms...not to mention he dresses well."
"You've got something in mind, hon?" Azana leaned forward in her seat, intrigued.
"I'll have to ask Max if there are any openings available, but yes...I have an idea."

Phoenix burst out laughing in the corner she had been occupied in, but covered her mouth to try to stifle it, giggling and snorting into the palm of her hand.

"Really, now?" Orrin asked, tilting his head. "And how did you deduce this, my dear?"
Azana couldn't help but snicker a little as well. It seemed fitting, though...and catered to his strengths without edging into the territory of oath violation.
"That's not quite what I had in mind, but it certainly could work," Sosol nodded, having forgotten about the possibility. "Probably a bit better than what I was thinking...do we even have those around here?"

"When were you in a host club!?" the redhead burst out looking at Advent with surprise.

Mal tucked his tail some at the laughter. He didn't want a funny job he'd get laughed at for. "What do hosts do..?"
"They flirt with people to make them feel special. It's what you're good at." she told the demon, looking back to Orrin. "What else could he be?"

"They pay you to serve girls drinks and talk with them. Usually there's some flirting involved, and many of them can be very generous to their favorites," Azana nodded. "And it's completely legitimate. So long as you don't siphon them or take one to bed, you'll be within the oath's bounds."
"You do have a point..." Orrin nodded. He had never had to work in one, or enter one himself, but he had heard from others about such establishments. And if Max was supposed to hook him up, he could be certain that Mal would be safe.

Azana blinked, thinking back for a second. Drawing a slight blank in confusion, she closed her eyes and tried to contact her angelic bond. What was the exact wording of that oath...? Was it while within the Inn, or while under the Inn's care?
Ugh, why does this kind of thing have to be so complicated?!
"I think that's what you said, too..." Sosol said quietly, hoping for his sake that they were right.
"Hm, that would throw a slight problem into play, wouldn't it...? Flirting in a place like that and not being able to even nibble...reminds me of Tantalus."

"I said I wouldn't hunt in the Inn, or any of its denizens." he said, folding his arms. "We're getting fruit so I don't have to go to town and endanger others. If I couldn't hunt out there, I'd be as good as agreeing to starve, and wholly dependant on you all. I would never do that."
He blinked, looking up to Orrin. "You know that Tantalus guy?"

"It's certainly worth a try," Sosol nodded. He had figured something like a doorman at a club, but this was even more lucrative. Not to mention Max could probably get the word out about him.
"The Greeks were quite poetic and creative in their punishments," Orrin said. "Not all of them had to be as violent as some that are rumored to be in your version of Hell."

"Well, they had part of it right..,the more I've heard of a lot of culture's thoughts of what it is, that they all have a part right. It's like that story with blind mice and an elephant." he said happily. "We have levels, we have the inferno, the Elysian fields...There's a bit of everything there. Hell's what it's made to be."
