"My name is Adam Terrus, and this is Sosol Jacobs." said Adam politely, sipping his water. "Thank you, Sol."
"We're holding marshmallows to see if they toast in your hand cause you've got a hot core temperature." he explained eagerly as he followed behind Kristen, carrying a bag of marshmallows. "Cause it works for me!"
The creature sniffed the chick curiously, like a tiny cat. "Yuu fuudo?"

"I am pyrokinetic," Kristen said, turning back to face the waiting girl. "I can easily toast a marshmallow. Just by holding it, though, I am not so certain..."
Violet sketched innocently, hoping Mal didn't notice her snack.
"A pleasure to meet you," Sosol nodded, glancing over to Violet for a moment before bringing his attention back to the conversation.

"Cool names," she said, nodded to both Adam and Sosol and added: "thank you for the water." She looked around the room and noticed that some of the customers weren't as human as she'd originally thought. "These people have special powers too?"

"Mine is not nearly as cool as any of yours."
She stood and jumped into the air, swinging her arms up above her head. They morphed into feathers and her legs shrunk upward as she jumped, into talons.
A hawk now hovered in the air beside them. Lyra rose higher into the air so her flapping would not disturb them.
"This is pretty much all I can do..." she said.
She thrusted her wings down, propelling her body upwards, and sommersaulting in the air As she fell towards the ground, the feathers were stripped from her bird form and a magnificent white tiger landed all-fours on the ground with a thunk.
She put a paw on her mouth. "Oops."

Peru fluffed up as big as he could, "PEEP!." As forthright as Peru was being Senpai spoke softly, "Peru isn't for meals, he is for companionship." Peru agreed through bobbing up and down "Peep." Mushishi do have the ability to speak, even the most basic of them could convey emotion- perhaps this being was simply something more complex in its structure? "Are you as well?" "Peep?"

Adam applauded cheerfully. "Wow, that's great! Shape shifting is cool!"
"Mii Fii!" chirped the critter, standing up to his full three inches tall. "Aima Chibi!"

The tiger slowly rose to her hind legs and morphed into Lyra's human-self as she righted herself. "Thank you," Lyra said with a smile. "Although, I am very jealous of your abilities."
She sat back down beside them as her heart rate slowed to that of a human's.

Sosol stared, entirely impressed by the display. "A shapeshifter...fantastic! Is it only animals, I wonder?"
Kristen took a marshmallow from the bag, holding it in her hands and trying hard not to focus on her fiery warmth.
"I-I...I don't..." Violet spoke quietly to the group.

'Oh? Me, all I do is garden." he chuckled. "I don't really have special abilities either. We have another shape shifter in, but I've never seen him do animals before."
Malachai held his marshmallow, smiling eagerly at his hands.

Senpai's eye widened at the creature."I see. Are there many of you?" A chibi- Senpai had never heard of one of these. Perhaps something to be taken further into research, perhaps a chibi was a sub race of the greater mushishi branch. Peru hopped closer to the creature and tried to cuddle up to it.

"Well, don't strain yourself too much if you want to try...I don't know much about shapeshifting, but I wouldn't want you to get stuck halfway or something." Sosol grinned, sipping his own glass and watching Kristen and Malachai...holding marshmallows?
Kristen dared not peek, waiting patiently. Would her temperature alone do it...?
Violet went back to her sketching, working on Lyra (in human form, of course) to display her 'talent'.
