"Well, sure I do. I can smell that well enough." he said, reaching around and supporting her as they walked. "But can you tell us what's the problem, or do I have to put you in sunlight first?"

...unsure about the smelling comment, but not unnerved, a small smile crept onto Senpai's lips. Senpai would find the chair quickly enough with the assistance, "Direct sunlight is required for...show and tell...explaining a...explaining is about as easy...as determining if Peru will be a phoenix or an elemental rooster..."

Peru chortled merrily, "ooodle ooodle."

Azana sat downstairs the next day, brows furrowed in concentration as she tried to re-arm the holy water pistol that had been hidden under the bar until recently. It wasn't that she ever planned on using it, or that she felt it was needed. Rather, Eli, Gren, and Baraquiel would all probably be upset to see it emptied that way. She had to hand it to him, though...searching out holy water to help someone wasn't very demon-like.

"Rrgh...why does this have to be so hard?"

Azana jumped slightly, honestly not expecting Gren to be around. "Heh...that obvious, huh?" She asked, handing it up to him. "Tech would never let me run around with something that old-school...I'm surprised he didn't make that pseudo-broom sooner."

"Weren't you there when we tested it...?" Azana asked, tilting her head a moment before shaking it. "Ah, well. That thing." She gestured to it, the strange contraption sitting next to her natural broom and Max's glider, looking to be the halfway point between the two.

"Tech's always looking for new things to do. Testing the boundaries seems to top his list...altering normally magical items with technology to try and make them work even better. Well, that or coming up with solutions to problems I have during missions."

"Well, the handle is natural wood...but just about everything else is Tech's own design. There's not much to work off when geeking out a flying broom, you know? Bristles, a handle, maybe a saddle if it's dedicated..." Azana replied. "He did a little tweaking on the crystal conversion matrix or whatever, that way it doesn't jolt like it did."

"From what I found out, Malachai emptied the bullets to help someone around here. It was an emergency, so he sniffed out the closest holy water he could find," Azana answered him. "Dug up a mint plant from Adam's garden, too. Kinda spooked him a bit, finding that under the bar. Sol told me he had to explain where it came from."

"Hmm...that's pretty daring of him, really." he hummed, smiling a bit. "That's an awfully long story, too. How'd he take..?" Gren paused, watching a baby chick peck happily about beneath a table. "...Eh?"
