Mally is here!
ED is traveling? Sounds fun. What's the trip for?
PostPosted: Sun Jun 29, 2008 4:34 pm
Hi everyone! Sorry that I haven't been around much in the last few days. I have been really depressed and busy with junk. It seems like everything that possibly could go wrong with my goal to student teach in the fall did go wrong. I have also been gone for the past couple of days. The senior class at my college graduated on Saturday, so I was down there for a couple of days. It really bothered me that I didn't finish in time to graduate with the people who started with me. Lucky me. Cramming a 4 year degree into 4 1/2 years... mad p I just realized about the contest! eek *runs*

Lol I feel sad that I didn't get to work on anything [no muse!!!... but lol I'm traveling so it'll be great ^_^]

And lol I'm traveling to get acquainted with my family's [the collective whole of my family -- the whole tree and everything] business partners and blablablabla stuff like that.

In short, it's all just preparation for me for when I start my own business in the near future :3

XD I can't say much more than that -- coz it'd just be repetitive.

Wow Ethereal, sounds like craziness! lol But I bet you'll get a lot of chances to learn all sorts of new stuff, which is awesome. I don't think I knew that you were going to start your own business. What are you going into?

As for me, I've been ultra stressed lately, but things are starting to even out. As it turns out, I'm not pregnant (yay for blood-tests!) and to answer your previous question chibi, I wasn't hoping to be. My hubby and I have decided that we'd rather adopt than bring more little humans into the world. I'm just glad to know that I wasn't actually having a miscarriage, which is what the first doctor type person I talked to said was the most likely cause to my problems.
Since then, I've had eight vials of blood drawn and an ultrasound, which I should be hearing about today (hopefully).
The hubby's family stuff has been ironed out. Apparently, he had jumped the gun a little bit before actually TALKING to his mom, so it doesn't look like we're going to be doing a mad search for a big house to put them up in.
But bleh. Enough about all that!

How is everyone enjoying their summer so far? What are you all up to? We're finally getting some heat, and spent most of yesterday trying not to melt entirely. Luckily it's a little bit cooler today. I hope it won't be as hot!
I'm bummed too, because I forgot all about the awesome recycled arts festival that was going on last weekend, so now I've missed it. gonk It would have been great weather too!

I hope that everything goes okay with the ultrasound. heart

I started my job today as a tutor. It was complete chaos. I wasn't sure where to go or what to do really. I got lost a few times (huge building). Then I couldn't find paper to tutor with (found it later). There were other things, but I was pretty much winging it today. The weird thing is that I liked it! blaugh

Lol yeah :]
All the people I've met so far are pretty amusing for business people... XD I'm more amused by the fact that so far I've been constantly paired up with their daughters... even more so by the fact that they all strangely have daughters (wtf? oh well).

Lol so yeah, XD I'm learning stuff while at the same time being treated out and given good company o.O (or, as my friend blurted out on the phone: "SET UP").

Right now I'm in Las Vegas, chilling out but will be headed out to Excalibur and the Bellajio (sp?... too hot to think; or well too tired) to meet up with another business guy.

Oh yeah... I forgot to answer your question: Lol I haven't made up my mind yet and I'm not all that great with business and economics just yet so lol thats why I'm running around like this -- but I want to deal with technological products/devices; although more towards military-grade tech than the (in my opinion, retarded) iPod-and-other-overrated-crap devices. XD Think weapons, robots, and all those good "spy-movie" devices.

razz But lol thats only a little dream/vision.

o.O And it's nice to hear things are starting to even out and all. Lol, in some ways I'm envious since you're able to go through such couple-ey things -- but only because my mind/being has been scarred by past events and am set on the idea that I'll probably go through life alone and stuff XD

MAKE IT STOP

I'd rather deal with 3 year olds for an eternity than listen to another word Elizabeth has to say! She won't leave me alone, she won't quit complaining, she won't quit going,"UGHHHHHHH!!!!!!!" and she won't quit eavesdropping, and she won't quit trying to amass sympathy from my friends, and the rest of us, by throwing a bitchfit and crying about "how the world is against her." Why is it I was never in this stage? I am so happy I wasn't. My god, I am going to STRANGLE her. PLEASE give me a reason not to.

Zom- Oi vey! Okay, I'll give you a reason.
Are you ready for it?
...
She'll grow out of it. Really, she will! My sister LITERALLY tried to kill my brother (who is the middle child) when he was 4.
Shoving him down the heater vent wasn't the best way to go about it, but she's happy now that her plot didn't work anyway, since she loves him to pieces and wouldn't trade either of us for the world. wink

Chibi- LOL, oh man. I loved Big and Teen Wolf. rofl I need to buy me Goonies and My Monster and... I can't remember the others.

Ethereal- Wow! That sounds... hilarious. Business trip slash wife hunt eh? *Eyebrow waggle* Are any of the lucky ladies worth your while? Either way though, it must be nice to have a chance to meet so many new people.
Your vision sounds awesome. Just do me a favor.
Don't make yourself a war suit that turns you into a super hero, and then drink the green tonic stuff and become a super villain. I would hate to have to learn about it on the news. rofl
Seriously though, that sounds awesome. Invention = rewarding. I always come up with the weirdest, coolest ideas and think "Hey, I could make a mint off that!" only to discover months later that someone thought of it too and patented it. rolleyes

Wow. Total flashback there. You sound exactly like me before I met my husband. I took a long break from relationships due to some unpleasant past events, and had completely closed myself off to the idea of "love". Luckily I found a very patient guy who was happy to just let me be me, and love blossomed from there. It happens before you know it.
And it still scares me, now that I know for sure I'm "In love". So much can happen, you know? It's a really hard thing to give your heart to a person, no matter how much you trust them.
It'll happen for you though. I even made up a wise saying about it (since I often mulled the topic over in my mind).
*ahem*
Love is like the wind. It is always there, but you may not notice it.

[/love mini rant]

Lol Mira,

[XD I'm answering in reverse order again]

Love:
...Haha; well, you see I was never really open to people on an intimate level to start with. I've only allowed one person to be in a relationship with me and I actually thought it was a good and final one [the way I perceived things to be when I decided to engage in a relationship with a human]. but it didn't turn out that way. I won't go into details out of respect, but lets just say that no matter how hard you try, a person will never give up their bad habits unless they, themselves, choose to. It appears that humans are just that fearful of change. The relationship was deep enough to send me back into a colder state of mind than I was originally -- but eh what can you do? "Things happen" or at least thats what typical humans say; however, I'd rather stick with a little thought I constantly have: "Humans are humans - flawed, selfish, and fickle beings that cannot be trusted with ease; most especially not with Love because they can't hold true to it - they fear it and dance, instead, with Lust."

Inventions:
Haha -- I have lots of fun/useful ideas and it's great when I find out they're not thought up of or patented at all. And haha... why not a war suit? That'd be pretty neat and I actually had one in mind, but it's more specialized to personal travel than anything. XD Lol... green tonic? Haha, super villain or super hero... I could go either way; it really all depends on my perspective towards human society and all (which to be honest has originally never been good from the beginning). Although, I have some hope for humanity so I'm leaning more towards being a savior rather than a destroyer -- but who knows really, we'll see :]

Lol wife thing:
Hmm.... lol its not really a wife hunt; it's more like... people are trying to get me hooked up with someone when I have no interest at all to begin with. [It pisses me off even more because this has been on going ever since I went back to being single again as though relationships are nothing more than petty items to be taken and thrown away with ease... peoples' blabber and suggestions of pitiful human culture are the cause of my being single again and therefore it pisses me off when the same pitiful human s**t is brought up to me. And by human culture I mean the idea of being too young to be in serious relationships, the idea of one's self needs before the needs of a relationship (independence stuff), the idea of a relationship as a commitment to where you buy s**t all the time and crap like that, etc etc etc. AKA: Stupid. Fickle. Materialistic. Shallow. Half-a**. Bullshit.]

Anyways... The girls I've hung out with so far on this trip [2 in total] were both good company -- but to be honest, I feel nothing towards them. I gave them my good company in return and respect to their parents. Physical features are a plus and so is mentality, but theres more I am looking for -- the ingredients which make true, undying, and devoted love -- but I doubt I'd ever find it anyways in this world/realm of existence. Lol... picky, yes... but I am asking for equivalent exchange.

This doesn't mean I won't allow them to keep in contact with me though XD

Yupyup! I just got back from Arizona today so I'm just chilling out in LA. Headed out again Friday -- will probably go to Oregon, but it's iffy at this point in time :]

Aw, cheer up. You'd be surprised at what you can find (I wrote that backwards...D smile I met someone last year (over the internet, unfortunately) who's practically perfect; the only flaw I can see is she's fragile, and has a personality split who can be extremely inhospitable since the construct's designed to protect her. -Nods.- I'm great friends with her, and we keep in touch as much as possible.

Anyway, I know for a fact there are more like her out there. I have another friend, even though I don't talk to her as often as I used to, who's only a year older than her, and they're a lot alike. She's a bit more naive though... It's pretty funny. :3

Hey, if I can find people like that, I'm pretty sure you can to. I mean, we're weirdos. We have a better chance of discovering the more unusual, like morals in today's society.

...-Sigh- These are the times when I feel like I'm older than I really am. Other kids make me feel so ancient when I look at their culture.

Hahaha... no, I don't like animals that much. My intention was to state how annoyed I am with human society to the point I would rather speak of it as though I am not a part of it. Besides, if I ever do find a girl that is perfect for me -- I'd be more or less convinced that the girl is something more than human [or at least, not your average classed human]

And haha -- although I'm accepting the idea that there is a small shred of hope in meeting my ideal partner; I am not at all expecting it to happen.

Hahaha... the only problem is that I'm growing colder as I get older and closer to the business realm. Money and success is magnetic; it's way harder to trust people in that situation.

As I've said previously -- the so-called "modern" and "normal" culture among human beings pisses me off to the point I would rather watch and have them drown in pain/agony than exert any effort in providing aid/change.
